Hi Bailey, just looked on argos and can't see an £11.99 one but a £12.99 which looks pretty good. Also couldnt see the £19.99 one on mothercare, although the 'on the go' one was £19.99 now down to £14.99. However, I have the 'on the go' model that argos has at £19.96 here and I wouldn't overly recommend it as it isn't washable, only wipeable, and although it is convenient as it deflates and squashes down into a little zip up case, it has got so dirty I can't bring myself to use it much! It might just be me though as I've read lots of positive reviews about it. I'd probably go for something like the argos £12.99 one myself, looks sturdy and the rigid plastic would be fairly easy to clean would've thought. In fact it's just reminded me that my mum's got something similar at her house, so I might see if I can pinch it off her to use here. I do get sick of permanently opening and closing the highchair as well as tripping over the feet of it which I do at least once a day :rolleyes:

Edit to say....this one on kiddicare gets rave reviews and is only £9.49 :money:, also available in pink, though not sure Jack would appreciate that lol.

    Hi All,

Has anybody tried the new website to swap unwanted baby's clothes (ebabyland)? Was considering trying but thought I'd check if anybody else had any experience of it yet?

  • Hi Bailey,
I've got this one for my monster and its really good and really easy to clean:

The down side is its £25 but underneath there is bits that come out to make the child sit even higher, great for using at differnt tables

Ruth, not heard of ebayland will have to have a look myself

We've got a folding booster seat. I can't remember where from or how much as I bought it when Joshua needed it and he's 11 now! It was cheap at the time and it's been excellent value for money. Both him and James used it and Charlotte is using it now. I like it as there are no nooks and crannys for food to get wedged in so it's easy cleaned.

I'm getting right into this gym lark! I did my routine on the machines in the gym yesterday and I went swimming today and managed 20 lengths, then had a sauna.

I was all on my own in the sauna and a man entered and started chatting me up! I mentioned that I liked the pool and I was thinking of bringing my baby down for a swim, and he suddenly remembered he had to be somewhere else and left :rotfl:

    Morning all

I know we have had this conversation before but LO has a terrible cough and snotty nose (had it for about 6 weeks again). We have the cot raised, water in room, window open a little bit, olbas on his mobile etc etc. I dont want to go to the drs and seem like a worrying mother because I know that he has to get these things to build up his immunity but just womdered if you have any more tips / ideas to help him?

He's not got a temp, still wolfing down his food and generally sleeping well.. although when he wakes up at 4.30 he can cough for England for about ½ hour before dozing off again. Just feel that I want him to spit it out (TMI sorry)

If it's gone on for so long and the normal things are not working, I would get him checked out at the doctors in case it's infection or something causing the symptoms.

Charlotte is trying to say more words. When we look at her Night Garden books she always says "aaaawwwww daidy" when she see's a picture of Upsy Daisy. She's obsessed with kisses at the moment, so everyone is getting showered in kisses :D

Took my eldest to meet his new tutor and head of year in secondary school last night, and we bought a badge for his blazer and a school tie. Can't believe he is leaving primary school next month. Doesn't seem like five minutes since he was a baby!

I'd second that if you are worried or even the slightest bit concerned you have every right to be the "worrying mother" and take him to the docs. Like Becles said it could have developed into an infection and it certainly won't hurt the drs to take a little look. At Henry's age they usually shake off colds quite quick so if it is hanging around it might need a bit of help to shift.

Archie has been pulling himself up on the furniture now and in his cot which is v. cute but mega dangerous as he just lets go and falls. I've had to take him out of the wooden cot and into the travel cot for now as he was hitting himself on the head so often. OH wants me to use the cot bumpers to stop this does but I'm not keen anyone here have any good idea's to handle this problem or should I just wait until he's more steady on his feet?

Maz - if it reassures you, my ds1 constantly seemed to have a cold for about 6 months and dh said to take him to the drs, but i pointed out it wasn't the same one, just a recycling of germs around the nursery.

i think the only reason it is better now is that he is now only there a day a week, so gets chance to avoid the germs for a little bit of the week.

still sleep deprived and run off my feet a bit here, so not much chance to read and post. Hope you are all well.

highchairs - i loved my handysitt - but, ds1 can no longer sit at my table with it as he can't get his knees under the table anymore so he kept dropping food on his lap. We've gone on to 2 cushions on one of our dining chairs, and he us loving it. He is being a bit naughtier, such as he can now reach further across the table and thinks nothing of reaching across to pinch things off my plate or steal my drink  but overall, i know he can have nice manners when it counts like when we are out and if the ILs are visiting us. I think he is particularly big for 20 months though, as he is the same size as my nephew who is a year older.
  • I have just put Ruby in her big cot and she is sleeping between 12 and 13 hours a night:j ( and I was worried that she looked too small in there) so she must like it! Going to a weaning party next week - ready for when shes 6 months ( much to my MIL discust- hers were on mash and gravy at a few weeks old:eek:) I just smile politely and say nothing:p
