I don't know a lot about it but I know it's a fairly minor operation to fix it.

Becles - Charlotte is so cute. Alice has a bouncer but she tends to look at the floor and spin round rather than bouncing.

Izzy woke us up being sick this morning. So far been sick 5 times, not bringing anything up hardly. Hasn't eaten anything other than one tiny mouthful of biscuit and been having small sips of water that then make her sick again.

Guess it's one of these 24 hour things. Horrible though, she looks so miserable and keeps flopping on the settee, sleeping intermittently. You just want to have the illness for them don't you.

Hoping if Olivia is going to get it that she gets it over with quick as it's her 5th birthday party next Sunday.

Hi all - grandma has lo at mo so giving me a lttle bit of free time to catch up.
Although maybe I should be catching up with housework as lo has come over all clingy lately and I'm not finding it easy getting enough time to complete household chores. Even worse is when he does his mini sleeps (10 mins tops! ) and I get half way through a task only to be interruppted - very frustrating.

I had my hair cut yesterday as I was finding most mornings I wasn't getting enough time to do a proper brush and so ended up feeling grotty until I could find time to fit it in - I have very thick hair too so it takes a good half hour to do properly.

BECLES isn't she a cutie - my ds1 likes Rhianna too!

PURPLE sorry to hear your lo is sick - there's been an awful lot of that around here too...shortly after lo was born OH and DS had the novovirus thingy they keep going on about and the washing machine was very well appreciated that week I can tell you :D hope issie gets better soon.

Oh and I use old videos under the legs to elevate the cot ;) I got them all together just before xmas to get rid of via freecycle etc and lo came down with a terrible cold and wouldn't li down flat at all. I was going to use books but was having a problem getting them all the same height as as our books are all different sizes. Then realised I had the perfect solution to my problem waiting in a binliner downstairs. Wrks a treat!:T

  • Hi everyone, I'm back, glad to be missed!

Well you were right, things finallly happened naturally on Tuesday morning. On Monday night went for a swim to try and shift her head from the wrong position and spent an hour on the birthing ball doing the same. I felt her move but was unsure if sje would revert back. Went to bed with braxton hicks and feeling slightly uncomfortable, same as sunday really.

Woke up at 4am went to the toilet, fell back to sleep. Woke at 6.30am and rolled over, felt some waters go, so sat up and felt more. Woke DH up and said "quick my waters are going, get a towel". Managed to get to the bathroom and back to bed again, Jack woke so I went and got him and then I felt very uncomfortable, within 10 mins I wanted to push and knew I was in labour. I called the birthing centre and said I wanted to be check over, wasn't getting contractions but my cervix felt to be dilating. They agreed, so called my parents and dad took over jack's breakfast and mum, DH and I got in our car. Damm thing wouldn't start so mum reversed her car down the drive and in between wanting to push I transferred. That 15 mins journey seemed ages, I couldn't sit in the car, I was knelt on the back seat trying really hard not to push. I remember saying "I want to push" and mum and DH yelling not to.

Got to the birthing centre and was met by the MW who was my favourite, I felt so lucky to have her. We arrived at 7.50am and delivered at 8.31am, so the whole thing lasted 2 hours. I couldn't believe it, I knew it would be quicker than Jack (4 hours) but I guess he had paved the way and she wasn't hanging around.

So for details, Molly Louisa was born on Tuesday 26th February at 8.31am weighing 8lb 1 and a half ozs. She is gorgeous a female version of Jack.

I stayed in the centre until Thursday and came home, its been hard but we've had mum helping us. Dreading DH going back to work as I have no idea how I am going to cope, we are just managing with both of us.

I don't think i'll be getting out of the house until the summer.

I'll post a pic when DH gets around to sizing some.

Right must go, don't know when I'll be back on next, net time is now a back seat.

I'll try to get back on tomorrow but we'll see how it goes, only as Jack is going to Ian's parents for the day, so it will be a bit easier.

    Bye for now,

    Bay

Awwwwww, many congrats Bay!! Welcome Molly Louisa. Lovely names, Izzy has the same middle name! Sounds like a speedy but not altogether unpleasant birthing experience. Well done. You'll soon settle into a routine of sorts, you'll see. Looking forward to seeing a pic soon.

Congratulations Bailey! What a lovely name, and the birth doesn't sound too bad at all.

I hope that once you get into a routine, you will be able to stop worrying about how you are going to cope - you seem like a very competent, resourceful person, and I think you will do really well.

As for not leaving the house till summer - sounds fantastic to me! :D;)

Congratulations, Bailey! :T Lovely name :)

And Happy Mother's Day everyone - hope you're all being suitably spoilt. My OH set Elliot up this morning to 'hold' a card and some chocolates for me, very sweet :grinheart
