DS bought me some flowers and a card
- and DH bought me a card and went to supermarket and got me some fresh croissants for breakfast.
Mothering Sunday was a particularly difficult day since losing Mum, but having DS has really helped.
I hope you all got a lie in!The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0 -
Well, I'm certainly earning my lovely mothers day flowers. Been up with Izzy since 6am, she's still really rough today. Not being sick anymore, but it's the nappy end now. Really nasty. She's got a bit of a temperature and just doesn't know what to do with herself. Keeps asking for cuddles, or duggles as she calls them, but then can't lie still, just fidgets constantly, guess because her tummy is aching. She's gone back to bed now so I'm getting a bit of time off. Hoping that DH is going to cook the lunch. I had to do the breakfasts :rolleyes:0

Congrats Bailey and I hope to hear in the coming weeks when you can pat yourself on the back and see for yourself that you are doing a brilliant job of coping with two LO.
I got breakfast in bed this morning, just tea and toast but it was lovely to have all the children around me, and then DS1 went on to wash all the breakfast dishes. Now that was well worth it :rotfl:0 -
bailey huge congratulations for the speedy and safe arrival of Molly. 2 hours Wow. I was 27 with charlie, so anything quicker than that will be a bonus. You lucky woman. You will soon be in the swing of things and wondering why you ever thought you wouldn't cope.
purple charlie has had a nappy end bug for the past week now. Hope izzy recovers quicker than that. I'm really hoping we can get him to nursery tomorrow, but if not, them's the breaks.
becles your video was really cute. Charlie loved his door bouncer, but i am not sure how we will use it this time as the only door we could put it on led to the kitchen, so we would have to take the baby gate off, and that would lead to danger for Charlie as he can reach things off the bench. He had the bread knife in his hand this morning. Doesn't bear thinking about.
Happy mothers day to you all, i had a lovely card, and some minsterels last night in front of the telly, we didn't go overboard as we are spending so much at the minute on decorating the house. We have been rushing round doing housework, DIY and me doing some work for school all weekend, and no time for niceties like going out for lunch today either.
anyway, back to the work, before DS wakes up again so i can try and do nothing this evening except perhaps iron

Poor babe, and poor you. I believe bf her as much as possible will be the most beneficial thing as far as I can gather - as whatever is making her ill will be fought by your immune system via the milk.
What are your childcare arrangements - 'cos most nurseries won't have her if she is still being ill tomorrow.
Good luck going back to work - it does get easier. I was a dreadful mess for weeks after I went back in December, but now it's part of all our routines.
