Happy Mothers Day to all the other Mummies. Had a great morning. My oldest had bought me a surprise present from school and he was excited about me opening it this morning. His face was just so full of pride!

It was bath stuff (genuinely nice stuff too) so I had a lovely soak in the bath this morning too!

Purplepatch - hope Izzy gets better soon. It's horrible when they're poorly!

Had a lovely first ever Mother's Day and received three cards.....from DH, DD and DDog :rotfl:. I got flowers, chocs, Molton Brown and Myleen Klass's pregnancy diary . I love being a Mummy! :blushing:

If you think about it, you don't feel like eating when you have a tummy bug. As long as she is taking plenty of liquid either from you or drinks of water, I wouldn't worry about the food. If it goes on for a couple of days though and she is still refusing food, then I would get her checked out.

Mam's know best though so if you get worried, seek medical help. They'd much rather see a baby and tell you it's nothing to worry about, than have you worrying yourself sick at home.

Had a lovely mothers' day. Got a homemade card, a bought card, flowers, fizzy cola bottles(!) and Mylene Klass mummy cd (bet she's made a fortune out of mothers' day). Best of all OH, DS and DD made lunch then cleaned the kitchen while I lazed on the sofa with baby

A question for everyone: I've stopped bf Charlie and my monthlies have returned this month, I had the pill ready on standby and started taking them on the first day of bleeding but I'm almost at the end of the pack and I'm still bleeding 20 days later, should I bother the doctor or is it just the first monthly after baby and should be ok soon?

I think someone else was asking something similar recently. Personally my first one was lighter and shorter than usual but I was still bf and wasn't taking anything. I'd probably phone NHS Direct (08454647) as they'll be able to tell you whether you need to see a doctor.

Just received a mailing from Bounty implying that I'm pregnant! Do they know something I don't? :rotfl:. It has a coupon for the 'Mum to Be' pack from Asda/Boots so I might as well collect it anyway .
