    Hi everyone,
Hope you don't mind me posting, but posted on the pregnancy site and it is very quiet at the moment. Think some of you ladies might have some experience of what i am going to ask.

Had an amnio on Friday (tough decision) to which my OH didnt' want me to have. Anyway, results are back and OK, but now i am terrified of miscarrying. I am a very negative person and think that i will be in limbo for the next three weeks. Even after that period if i get there I know i will worry that something will be wrong with baby that won't be discovered until he is born. Can't put my feet up for 3 weeks as got 3 kids. So scared - keep reading up on the internet and there is so much conflicting info. Sorry, i only seem to post about depressing stuff.

    Hi Hun
I had one of these at 16 weeks preg and was in fact only 14 weeks (discovered at birth) I think the rest is mainly paramount for only 3 days after but you can lightly do things as the main worry is the amniotic fluid leakage is what the concern is. Just lightly do things dont charge about. My DD came out perfect and would have been perfect to me even with downs. The amnio is 100% accurate the only thing is would not be able to tell you are things non-chromasonal. Trust me on this all will be well if thats what the results have said

Good luck if you want to know anymore then just ask

Ooh Purple! Thanks for the important-sounding title! :j

Keep forgetting to say. My local Netto have some Heinz Organic baby food in for 23p/26p a jar. It's 7mth+ and my local one only has one flavour main course and one dessert, but it's still cracking value. The main course isn't lumpy enough for Imogen, so I string it out to 2 meals by adding Annabel Karmel pasta from Boots. Very MSE!!

Charlotte gave me a kiss last night :D

We were looking in the bathroom mirror and pulling faces at our reflections (as you do!), and I kept kissing her cheek. Then she turned and kissed my cheek. I got that that warm fuzzy feeling when she did it :j

Jealous! I've been trying to teach Imogen that for months and she just pushes me away in disgust! What a lovely moment for you. :-)

  • My mum taught Jack to kiss but he doesn't do it quite properly, he sucks in his lips and then kisses, he looks like a little old man, its so funny. But that is how he kisses, not fusses who he gives them to either or when he does it!!

Iz does kisses with an open mouth, tongue out and lots of dribble usually.

    Still love em though ;)

Alex did kisses as a newborn. :D :rotfl: If I held him against my shoulder, he did a sort of pecking motion with his head (looking for the nipple) and occasionally the pecks landed on my cheek. It was so cute, even though they were not real kisses. Made all those night feeds worthwhile. :happyhear

Oh Dormouse, you've just brought back such a lovely memory for me, that's exactly what DS used to do when he was hungry. DD doesn't do it - she shakes her head from side to side and makes frantic snuffling noises. But I used to love DS's little headbutts.

That was like the one I got! I've tried again this morning, but she won't do it again

Charlotte is really excited today as she got a toy monkey in the post from her baby cousin :D
