Lol, all these nasty poo stories :rotfl: What have you started Bailey??

Actually, I may have been particularly lucky, but neither of my girls have been prolific poo-ers. Have only had the very odd nappy explosion with poo up back and certainly never had squirty poo anywhere, none in the bath, none on the bed - actually my only recollection of any poo evacuation mid nappy change was with DD1 in the very early hospital days. Compared to some of the horror stories my friends with boys have told me, you may even find girls easier Bay!!

Funnily enough I was just wondering that myself.....:rotfl:
  • DH said last night he wanted to put Olivia back on the list at no.1, he said as we both liked Oliver so much its the feminine version and he really likes it. I said we'd end up calling her Ollie, Liv or Livvy but he said he didn't mind. So its back in the contender box again........

Not quite sure when we'll decide for sure, but we do have the middle name sorted that's never been a problem.

Oh and my MW said that my last scan has dated me 3 days forward, so my EDD is now 19th February. Strange as the last two scans agreed with me, what's changed now? I bet its something about nothing.

Well, I like it, but I'm obviously a little biased :rotfl:But I suppose that after 4 and a half years I might have tired of it, but I haven't, still like it just as much as I did when we chose it, DH says the same.

We do call her Liv and Livvy, but absolutely never Ollie. She goes mad if anyone ever calls her Ollie, because she says it's a boy's name. I do still call her Olivia a lot though, probably because I'm always telling her off lately, lol!

Funnily enough, my top boy's name choice was Jack but never got to use it.
  • Charlie opened our eyes to how bad his explosive poos can be! Been out for the day and he'd been changed thoughout the day absolutely fine, gave him a feed just before we left for a 2hr journey home and he let out farts a grown man would boast about. MIL wanted a cuddle before we left so passed him over, and it dribbled out of his nappy & bodysuit, down his trouser leg and onto my MIL! We were in the car park at this time so had to open up the boot and completely change him before he got cold!!

  • Oh claire, YUK, that made me laugh. I hope MIL had a sense of humour!!!

    Hi,

Hand, foot and mouth is contagious. My son had it but apart from lumps on his tongue he was ok, the kid he caught it off and another one of that got it both had it really bad and couldn't eat or swallow properly. I would think that it's best to stay away until your niece is better.

One of the babies we know got it - I'd never heard of it but apparently it's really common. She was at a party with us on Sunday then came out in the rash. HV advised it's only contagious while the rash is out and she was at sing & sign on Thursday (yesterday). Haven't noticed anything untoward with Imogen. Perhaps you could check whether the rash has gone and then make your mind up?

3kids - glad you're feeling a little brighter. Keep those feet up for as long as you can! Perhaps you could just do some planning online for the things you're going to buy?!

Just bought Imogen the VTech First Steps from Argos. She's sat and played with it all afternoon. That's the best £22 we've spent in a long time. She even does funny walking with it (with me holding under her arms) and loves holding on with her hands then bending right over to make a right angle - strange child, think it's her father's genes!

We looked at that for Charlottes Christmas present, but then we saw the VTech Dancing Tower. She loves singing and dancing, so I think she'll like that better.

I feel really yuk now. My son brought a vomiting bug home which I've caught :(

I've also gone back on the Cilest pill, which I was fine with before. I've only had 1 period since Charlotte was born. A couple of weeks back I started bleeding and thought it was the start of another period, so I started taking the Cilest tablets. The bleeding stopped again, but I kept on with the pills. Over the last 10 days I've had lots of spotting and tummy cramps, but no proper period. I've got a week left to go before the pill free week, so I'm hoping I'll have a proper bleed then, and then I'll go back to normal.
Here I go again on my own....
