When I bought my first iphone 2 years ago, all my friends told me I was just going for an iphone because it was the in thing to do and that it was a rubbish phone (this from people who didn't own one). 2 years down the line, all of these friends own an iphone. Says it all really.0

iOS 5 is the dogs and the airplay on the iPhone is mega - i can have 10,000 songs on my iPhone in my own house and it doesn't take up any memory on the phone is just 1 mega thing i could go on all night
And with the Apple tv as well omg its just Mega !!!! probably the best everMalaga
Absolutely agree with you a 100%! An iphone is the best phone around. People keep saying it has a poor camera, no flash etc. If you want a camera, go buy a camera. And unfortunately there are a lot of iphone haters around, who either 1. Don't own an iphone or 2. Owned an iphone in the past but wanted it to act like a magic wand or 3. Can't afford one and jealous of everyone else who can.
This is the drivel you have to put up with in the face of reality. Apple fanbois are technologys equivalent of creationists.0 -
All Apple products I agree are a little pricey but so is a Rib-eye compared to a Rump steak !!

Maybe you should break with the cult and try a different company, there simply are better phones out.0 -
Lol you want to think there are better phones out you mean
I like products which are easy to use and hardly ever frustrate or disappoint that's why I choose Apple
But saying they are simple to use they also amaze me & my iPhone hating friends when ever they see the my apple products in actionGet Appletv2 & XBMC in and thank me later :beer:0 -

Theres no thinking involved there are better phones. I proved that in my post above.I like products which are easy to use and hardly ever frustrate or disappoint that's why I choose Apple
But saying they are simple to use they also amaze me & my iPhone hating friends when ever they see the my apple products in action
I'm sure you bore them every chance you get.0 -
Recently changed to an sg2 after an iphone 3gs, liked my 3gs but getting apple to replace the cracked white case out of warranty was a nightmare, and they were completely at fault. this has put me off apple. The same is true of grip of death Annetta, overly weak glass screens and backs etc...
SG2 is great for a few reasons
The larger screen made me feel like i was using a childrens toy when i next went to use an iphone
I havent had to re-encode any file since starting to use the SG2 (unlike having to convert every file i had for my iphone)
I was holding out for an iphone with 64GB but i dont see this happening, 48GB in my SG2 and can swap 32GB cards out without problems.
SG2 views all websites (you can switch off mobile mode so webmasters cannot force their restricted 'mobile' sites on you)
SG2 views flash, including games, ive been playing live roulette on the William hill main website with my handset - never be possible on iphone.
Android allows a ridiculous amount of user freedom - i can drag and drop my music collection again!
I can delete music from within the handset without having to sync/use itunes
Takes some great pictures (Without flash, which i have found tends to increase sensitvity to motion blurring)
only really had two downers.
The sg2's battery life is pretty shocking - im usually down to about 65-50% by the time i get to work.
GPS has been quite weak (In conjunction with Navigon - up to 15 mins to get a signal on occasion)
BUT while the SG2 is great, i will concede that the legal actions against samsung by apple are probably justified, i'm so comfortable with my SG2 so quickly because it is SO similar to my Iphone!.
On build quality ? my experience is that the build quality on apple kit is not radically better than competitors. The SG2 is light and will not twist or break in normal use. Do you really want to have an extra £100 on the price for it to be made out of aluminium and glass?0 -
Lol I can Delete & Add songs to my iPod on my IPhone without iTunes ???
You just didn't know how to use it properly regapprentice
HthGet Appletv2 & XBMC in and thank me later :beer:0 -
I'd hope there is a way to avoid itunes, probably the most bloated piece of !!!!ware you can put on you computer!0
