  • The 1 thing the iPhone has over the Galaxy S2 is the desirability factor, and thats due to Apple amazing marketing. If you could market a dog turd to be amazing people will buy it, simple, specs, hardware etc are irrelevant, Every add break has a bloody advert for an iPhone 4, and look how its made out, Airplay can do this that and the other, what they fail to mention you is need an Apple TV to do this but do the general public care? No they see this as a totally amazing piece of kit. Now come to Samsung I can't actually remember seeing an advert for the Galaxy S2.

  • Spent quite a lot of time debating the galaxy today and finally ordered it this evening, only problem was the white version wasn't allowed on my upgrade for some reason and it looked really nice when i went instore this afternoon to have a look what was available, anything has to be smaller then my current Dell streak anyway. :D
  • 23n1th- you really dislike the iPhone haha. Just aswell this debate will continue when the iPhone 5 is announced. By the way which phone sells more worldwide ? :-)

Streak any good as a tablet ? considering getting one as a mini tablet & keeping 3GS as a phone/music player....surfing & wifi hammers the battery like Katie Price hammers her make up bag.
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

I got the streak first day they were released and never changed it since which is unusual for me I used to change my phone quite regular, I have been using it mainly for surfing as you never have to zoom into sites the screen is just the right size and also sat nav you can get the holders quite cheap on ebay for the car, if you want a tablet you can carry around its perfect size, i've also dropped mine down sets of stairs and all over the place and the screen survived everytime, only time it didn't was when I dropped something directly onto the edge of the screen and it smashed the glass, i'm using it now to post though with the glass cracked and its still working fine. :D as for battery life it seems ok, occasionally I need to charge up as soon as I get home from work if i've been surfing most of the day but mainly it lasts at least a full day.

They can be a little awkward to use if you start using the custom roms as Dell never really released the information needed for the devs to get everything fully working so you can get certain bugs and restarting etc but I never had any problems since I went back to the original rom.

You're wrong I don't dislike the iphone. I am pointing out that at this moment the SGS2 is the better phone, which is obvious for anyone to see. Trying to say a phone released well over a year before the SGS2 is as good or better is stupid especially considering the pace of new technologies coming out.

I'd like to think the iphone 5 should be better that the SGS2 seeing as it was released after the SGS2.

What phone sells more worldwide? What year are we talking?

I think its not fair to compare iphone 4 sales to SG2. Personally, I will compare iOS sales to Android.
  • !!!!!! Apple iPhone is this best on the market full stop thats why the competition keeps bringing 8-10 phones a year out to try and keep up
iOS 5 is the dogs and the airplay on the iPhone is mega - i can have 10,000 songs on my iPhone in my own house and it doesn't take up any memory on the phone is just 1 mega thing i could go on all night :)
And with the Apple tv as well omg its just Mega !!!! probably the best ever :)
Get Appletv2 & XBMC in and thank me later

Absolutely agree with you a 100%! An iphone is the best phone around. People keep saying it has a poor camera, no flash etc. If you want a camera, go buy a camera. And unfortunately there are a lot of iphone haters around, who either 1. Don't own an iphone or 2. Owned an iphone in the past but wanted it to act like a magic wand or 3. Can't afford one and jealous of everyone else who can.
