hi this is my first post so unsure if its in the right place i just need some advice on how i log a complaint to asda
i had my shopping delivered yesterday morning, a service which i regularly use, i put the shopping away as soon as it was delivered.
later when i went to get out fish fingers for my childrens dinner i opened the box to discover the fish fingers were covered in green mould and smelt terrible, they had obviously been left to defrost some time ago and then refrozen the sell by date was march 12
i telephoned customer services and all i got was we will refund the money, no apology for the incident
i am totally disgusted by this incident and would like some advice on where to go from here it is no about compensation it is principal i dont feel they can just ignore it
thanks

What would you LIKE them to do?0

You have complained and have been refunded!0

I echo the others - you've complained, and received a refund. What more do you want - an OBE?0

OP, sorry to see that the bitchy brigade have jumped all over your post. It's unfortunate that there are a group of virtual trolls who hang around on this forum a belittle anyone who uses it to have a vent.
Presumably you would like an explanation, an apology, and some reassurance that they will take some action to ensure that this rather disgusting experience is not repeated. These seem like perfectly reasonable desires. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -

He is, isn't he!
He's also full of crap.
The OP complained, got refunded - case closed. People spend far too much time whinging about every little thing these days - get a life, and enjoy it while you can - you only live once for goodness sake :mad:0 -
They will have past the experience to the store manager involved with home delivery and they will have looked into it.
You were refunded.
I could be wrong but I smell you might have been after more than just a refund despite what you say other wise you would have left it there over such an issue.0 -

Two more fully paid up members of the bitchy brigade.
Look, fanny no knickers, this is a forum part of whose purpose is to allow people to vent.
There seems to be a self appointed little clique of people who clearly need to ridicule others to make them feel better about themselves. You two are clearly members.
If you don't have any interest in some particular vent, why not take the opportunity to shut up rather than spout you petty minded nastiness at the person who made the OP?There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
You complained and got a refund so not sure what else you want them to do.0

Make sure it doesn't happen again, that's what. The minimum pay worker on the end of the phone obviously doesn't give a t*ss and will refund no problem, but where's the prevention?
Write a letter O.P. and ask for a response.
Azari, I totally agree, too many sad little trolls around this place.Pants0 -
