He's only suggesting that IF it were to happen it would be good if it would happen to someone who might learn something from it. It seems a very sensible comment to me. You do have a childish and irresponsible attitude to this matter. It IS important that people ensure that lessons are learned from mistakes. Quite why you pig headedly insist that this isn't the case is not clear.

We'll just have to agree to disagree I'm afraid - the OP complained, got refunded. End of as far as I'm concerned. Go and enjoy life.

That's my opinion. You have yours. That's fine.

I suggest that you don't wast any more time on this 'fanny vart' idiot.

Just look at his other posts.

He seems to specialise in belittling people who have problems. His very first post here suggested that the person he was speaking to had mental health problems.

He's clearly nothing but an annoying troll.

    Best not to feed trolls.

Yeah, he's demonstrated that he's completely clueless. He'll probably hang around here for a while making a nuisance of himself and then go and play on some other board.

Lol. How ironic. Someone has a differing opinion to yourselves and they are 'clueless'. Well done on making both yourselves look like the disgraceful idiots that you are.

I suggest you grow up, and learn that not everyone will share your opinion. Until you learn that important lesson, you two will always be 'children'.

    Toodles x
  • Been reading this thread With interest, and I must say the last page or two has made nobody look good.
I think posts have been (on both sides) that reflect badly on most people in the last page.
fannyvart (weird handle btw) didn't express himself (herself?) very well and certainly didn't need to be so rude, but at the same time, he/she at least has been calmed down and make their point of view clearer in their last couple of posts.
What isn't on now is the last few comments made by Azari in particular (& Moglex to a lesser extent). Yes, you've made your points now but there isn't any need to wish food poisoning on anyone, or to gang up on someone just because you have a differing pov.
You all have different points of view, which is fair enough - so just stop arguing and calm down now before this gets further out of hand.
For my part, I think they should have apologised out of courtesy with the refund, but I don't think it's worth wasting any more time over. The OP has the refund, let it go.

So, you are basically agreeing that the OP was wrong to want some reassurance that Asda took the matter seriously and you also don't think potential food poisoning is worth concerning yourself about?

It's interesting that you seem to have exactly the same opinion as Mr Vart - even down to agreeing with his earlier statement that he did not express himself well.

    BTW, welcome to the forum.

Interesting that you should join today, make your way straight to this forum, and end up just replying to this post, then log off. :rotfl:

  • I don't really know what to say to that. There's no need to be rude, and I didn't log out? Yes I signed up today because I wanted to say something.

Thanks for the welcome though (assuming you meant it).

    Act like what, exactly?

I was just confirming that 'soothyerboots' shared your somewhat unusual and laissez faire attitude to food poisoning.

And welcoming him to the forums.

Oh, and I happened to remark on the coincidence that he joined, made one post, thanked a whole swathe of your posts and logged out again - all in the course of lees than half a day. ;)

  • I also thanked a couple of yours, in case you hadnt noticed. At least the couple of your posts which weren't so aggressive.
