I echo the others - you've complained, and received a refund. What more do you want - an OBE?

An apology, ownership, politeness, courtesy, reasonable communication, assurance "it" will not happen again and certainly not an acidic unnecessary response such as yours

Why would you want to take it any further ? What happened to warrant anything over and above a refund ? If they were frozen when they were delivered, how on earth could Asda know that they were mouldy ? Do you expect them to check every single item before it's delivered ? Accidents happen but it's not as if this was done deliberately, as long as their pickers are reminded to check sell by dates i don't think they need to do anything else, you can always find out of date stuff in supermarkets, it's not unusual. Lifes too short to sweat the small stuff !

I know from an issue I had that asda will have past the info to store, so the ref to min wage call centre shows attitude and a wrongly perseved view that they do not take it seriously.

I am sure op got an apology, they probably are upset as their feet were not kissed:p

I have a mind to report you for your continued subversion of the forum's swear-filter, which has been put place to prevent people from posting such offensive language.

    For shame.

I am unaware of the swear in what you quote, albeit this may be prevalent elsewhere that you have not evidented. That said, I have a mind to question what you are saying/stating/claiming/wanting as in my ignorance, I am unaware of your point, if indeed there is one.

No doubt you will respect my ignorance nd advise/direct me accordingly.:)

Given the hundreds of Asda stores, millions of boxes and packets of food and new deliveries several times a day, do you think this would be a realistic assurance for a person working in a call-centre to give?

Thats why the store manager for home deliveries would have acted and checked to make sure it did not on the food involved. Even when you write to head office I leant they still just forward it to the store re home delivery, so just accept sorry and if too upset, choose another supermarket.

what should have happened is defrosted then re frozen it should have been binned but sounds like the person who put them back didnt throw them out.
Might have been an item that was left behind at the tills and a checkout person was asked to put them back onto the shop floor and didnt know any better.

how? apart from opening every packet of frozen food that leaves the store to make sure it hasn't been defrosted and refrozen?

if they were green they must have been left out for a while. If they defrosted and then put back in the freezer they'd look normal, but these sound more like they've been left out (fallen off in the warehouse somewhere and not been seen for a few days?) a while and then put in the freezer.
