  • OP, if you are concerned that this could be an ongoing problem, then you should probably let trading standards know (though if the store manager is any good, they should have already logged the problem you had with the producer, just in case its a production problem).

An apology, ownership, politeness, courtesy, reasonable communication, assurance "it" will not happen again and certainly not an acidic unnecessary response such as yours

They received a refund, end of story. Time to move on and stop letting the small things in life bother one so much! Jeez.

Look, fanny no knickers, this is a forum part of whose purpose is to allow people to vent.

There seems to be a self appointed little clique of people who clearly need to ridicule others to make them feel better about themselves. You two are clearly members.

If you don't have any interest in some particular vent, why not take the opportunity to shut up rather than spout you petty minded nastiness at the person who made the OP?

Just because I (and others) do not share the opinion that the venting OP (for whatever thread) is always in the right, it does not make us trolls. So, how about you shut up, and understand that not everyone is going to have the same opinion as you. Get it? Child.

As I said, the op has been refunded (rightly so), therefore that should be it. The people who take things further in cases like this are those people whose lives are so pathetically boring, that they have nothing better to do than complain, and whinge, about the slightest little thing.

Stop moaning about such petty nonsense, and start enjoying life! It's not THAT hard for goodness sake.

Well, let us just hope that the next time someone allows something to defrost and get refrozen and sold on to a customer it's you to whom it's sold.

Perhaps a dose of food poisoning will help to adjust your smug, sanctimonious attitude.

I'll complain, get a refund, and leave it there. And spend the rest of my life getting on with the important things - such as spending time with family, enjoying the small things in life, and whatever.

What I wouldn't be doing is wasting more hours of my life writing in and phoning in, in the hope of getting some sod to write or say 'I'm sorry, sir' for the benefit of my ego.

If you could apply a little more intelligence to considering the situation you would, perhaps, realise that this incident reveals a systemic failure on the part of Asda to observe safe food handling methods.

Whilst getting a letter of apology may be unimportant, ensuring that they take this lapse seriously, investigate what happened and modify their procedures to ensure that it cannot happen again is important for anyone with any sense of civic responsibility.

You do not seem to have the requisite common sense to realise that and although you wouldn't bother to try and ensure that Asda take the matter seriously, you are quite happy to post again and again in this thread to jeer and belittle the OP.

I think that tells us a great deal about you, none of it pleasant.

You can carry on with that crap as much as you like. Most of us can see a lot about you from what YOU are writing!!! And the general impression is that you are a sad, pathetic little person with nothing else to do with your life but complain, complain.

I never said, btw, that the OP didn't have a right to complain. But he has complained, got a refund, therefore it should be end of story. But no, it's not the end is it...because we now live in an age of 'give me more, more, more' where nothing is ever satisfactory for anyone! It's pathetic, and it's sad, and indicitive of how petty people have become over the last decade.

Now here's an idea, shut up and start accepting that other people disagree with you.

    LOL, calm down! :)

What you cannot seem to grasp is that I don't have a problem with you disagreeing with me. My problem is with your desire to post over and over again to try and belittle someone who is acting in the interest of the public generally.

It may be that in your own little, self centred, mind, the only reason why someone would complain is to get something for themselves. I get that that is the way your mind works. It's not pleasant but it's what you seem to be stuck with.

Just try, for once, to step back and, instead of thinking about this in a selfish, 'me me me' way, consider the wider picture.
