    Lynz - glad it's moving at last!

    I've not exchanged today and sol thinks that the 19th is now out of the question, hopefully now it will be the following week.

    great news! lynz and dkny! well done you both! yay! :j

    On my front, today my buyer has finally got her mortgage offer and 'everything's good' according to EA - so she'll be full steam ahead as of Monday - wooh!:T

    We're having sushi tonight (paid for by pigsback / waitrose voucher!) and watching grow your own - thinking that we might just get this house with allotment as we hoped...and maybe not too long...:beer:

    Just got a letter from solcitors informing me that my purchaser will attending there solcitors office on 17th to sign the contract document which would then be in a psoition to exchange contracts. The exchange of contracts is prosposed to be 18th Jan with completion on 1st Feb. I have to inform them whether is is agreeable. He is awaiting news of vendors solictors (my seller) of notice of this proposal

    I dont know now when we will exchange! as all sorts of enquiries been raised by our buyers sol and they are the only ones in a chain of 5 left to sign ready for exchange ,why do they leave these things to the last minute?, now my son will probably lose his place in his new school as they cant hold it until we exchange.
    very frustrating, I am glad things are looking up for lynzpower and poppycat and others you give me hope that it will be ok...

    the buyer is saying that he wants wednesday for exchange, whether this remains the case, needs to be seen!
