I would have thought proof that you only pay the HA would be enough, if County do manage on HA's behalf that's not really your concern is it? I would have thought that the buyer's solicitor would only need proof that the block is managed by someone and that you are not in arrears with the service charge. If county have confirmed they don't manage your side and you have proof that you pay management fees to the HA, what else is there?

    UPDATE:

Good god. I have wept today out of sheer frustration.

So it transpires that county ARE the managing agents, despite them denying it repeatedly over the last few days. they are POSTING the report out tomorrow, so it wont be recieved by my sols till monday at the very earliest.

then it has to go over to his sols

Im certain we have lost the rental house now  I cant face calling the LA

I dont know what we are going to do we dont have the money to move if we have lost the deposit on the rented place- what are we gonna do

  • can the report be faxed to your sols? There must be a way round this so you get your house and don't lose the deposit. After all, its hardly your fault things have been drawn out like this, is it?

I did say " by post" and the ecretary said yes. I said Oh, only that means we'll definately lose the house

Ill speak again to my sol in the morning, and see if she can get it faxed over.
