Our EA was off sick yesterday, wouldn't you know it, so we still don't know if our buyer is planning to instruct the sols or not. Our sol is worried, and the vendors EA are worried, so she'd better buck up her ideas as I'm fed up now. I mean, you wouldn't go through the whole mortgage application business if you werent planning to carry on, would you? grrr.
  • Fingers crossed you get good news today Claire :)

DKNY, it must be so nice to have all that stress behind you. I am so pleased for you :D

Lets hope the rest of us get some good news today too. I need it so I can get some sleep at night!

Id carry on marketing the place till your buyter gets off her a55 and gives you a solicitors name. I get the feeling that she might not have the money, this is what this situation says to me dragging it on, waiting for some money.
She could go for the mortgage app and been turned down? Do you know either way, whats your EA said about the AIP?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

  • Lynz! I really hope today is the day for you!!!!!!!!

We were meant to exchange today too, but contracts were late getting to us so they won't be back to the sols til tomorrow. But I haven't heard anything today about deposits, completion day. I am just burying my head in coffee at the mo. (sigh)

I was supposed to be exchanging today as well, but the two sols below me in the chain seem like useless a55holes and despite all in chain agreeing a date last night (wihtout going through the sols) the sol at the bottom of the chain has not confimred it, so exchange probably won't happen now. So frustrating :wall:
