Lynz sod them. Go out and treat yourself or anything to get your mind off this whole charade, it ain't worth worrying, and I no I got upset/frustrated in my dealings and I ain't been through as much as you by the sounds of it.

On a positive my buyers should sign contract yesterday and my sellers today. Had another quote from a removal company which I was told is a reasonable company, it was a much higher quote £340 than the other quote I got just before Christmas for £282. So booked that company for Thursday 1st Feb, hopefully we can move that day.

Right I am looking forward to move and actually spend some money on housey things I have had a right skin flint month or so clawing back on buying everything and running the freezer/food cupboard down.

lynz, I think its time to make a stand. remarket the property today. if your buyers get their act together you can still exchange this week or next. At least get the ball rolling with estate agent. more reason to do something than not - at least you will feel in control. its following exactly the same course as your future landlord has done, left the door open but pursued other options.

you will at least feel more in control and it will show your buyers and the agent that you won't be messed with.

put it another way, what have you got to lose by remarketing?

    good luck!

If we exchange this week or next, we have no where to go to, and no money for a deposit as we have given it to the Letting agent, non refundable at at this stage.

we cant affor to stay here the mortgage has gone up by almost 200 quid IO and we have no way of paying for it with me being on JSA.

the sick thing is that the buyer is hassling the EA all over the place, hes desperate to exchange but his solicitor is being so crap they are lying to everyone and avoiding the phone.
