well I just had a missed call from the EA

Why did I feel so

Apparently theres another viewing booked, but we are SSTC - I have emailed my sol this am to say where is this report, arrived yet? If it has then I can start turning the proverbial screw.

Im getting so worried now, if we lose this rented house I swear it will be so gutting :(
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Well I'm back in the race :) Having previously been in the race to be in for Xmas things changed when a few problems came up on the survey and the council took an age to get back with more details. However I am now only waiting for details about one more search problem and details have been sent to the seller to arrange a completion date. I am exchanging and completing on the same day so fingers crossed I will be in my new house very soon wahooooooooooooo :D

I hope you all get settled in the near future. Our buyer couldn't get a mortgage and our seller decided to take her house off the market yesterday - 4 months after SSTC .
I'm in shock really. The costs will hurt so much. I don't know how much the sol is going to charge - presumably 2 sales and 1 purchase. So we're where we were in September, only poorer. I hope this works out for us. I'm going to see something tomorrow but I don't know if I have the energy (or the cash) to face this process again.
I hope our castle is out there, waiting.....
At least we have a house and we like where we are. We just wanted a bigger place.
Best of luck to you all!

Hi, not posted on here for a while but I think we're getting close... our buyer just called and he is signing as we speak and posting back tonight, and he's ready to talk dates. Rest of chain OK, just chasing up buyer's buyer who is at the bottom...

Leftie - How awful for you, hopefully you'll find something much better and maybe get a better offer on your place ;)

Lynz - any news? what was the missed call?

leftie thats terrible news. i know exactly how you feel. the last time my purchase went pear shaped i despaired and did not feel like i had the energy or even the interest to keep house hunting. you really have been put through the mill. hope things get better for you.
  • i had a unaswered call on my phone from the solicitor at lunch time. my heart was in my throat returning her call as i was afraid that she was going to say that something had gone wrong. turn out the seller filled in their fixture and fitting list worng and have noe decided they are not leaving the appliances in the kitchen or the curtains / rails through out the house. doesnt bother me really but the call scared me.

((((leftie)))) Im so sorry, god that stinks.

I would be going back to your estate agent when you have the energy and seeing whether they should have found out that your buyer wasnt in a position to proceed  wonder if theres any comeback for you from that?
