Ooh I have my fingers crossed for you!
We've had our survey at last (he said he felt it might be a bit overpriced! well if you come round the day after new year it's going to look like a cramped tiny mess, isn't it?:rotfl: ) but to be honest I'm just so relieved it's happening again. I haven't heard one way or the other yet about anything but we've got all searches, survey and mortgage offer for the house we're buying so that all seems to be fine. It's just selling this house that worries me a little...What if they say it's worth less than the agreed price and won't give our buyer enough money to buy it?!? It was only a valuation survey rather than a homebuyers so what will it show? We've always had homebuyers so we know the level of detail in them.
It's a 2 bed with central heating and double glazing, we had two EAs valuations on it and they said the same amount, plus we've not seen much about for cheaper. It's within walking distance of the station and that's within commuting distance to London, so I think it's location as much as the house itself sometimes. But even so, there's nothing hugely wrong - I mean our survey 3 years ago mentioned some things that we never got round to doing (rewiring, replastering, etc etc) but other things we have done (central heating, double glazing, damp proofing, replacing floorboards & flooring, etc).
Oooh it's all too scary isn't it? I'm not bloody moving again after this you know! :mad:0 -
Good luck DKNY, Jammin and Claire!!!!
And Lynzpower, I hope you have better news this week
Its all getting very exciting now isn't it!!!! We took our children around to see the house for the first time at the weekend, so we have to move soon or I shall be nagged to death by them! Hopefully I be looking around another school this week or next as its getting close now.0 -
Oh dear, the letting agent is getting very jittery indeed now and the LL wants an answer. I said hopefully it will be the tail end of this week. Must pressure the buyer now I think .
 :beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
