  • Been around our new home to measure up. Love it even more than the first time we went round! We are not impressed by our sellers attutude at all. Questions we have asked haven't been answered. Sounds like she couldn't care less if the sale goes through or not. Still, we have been told that it could be about 4 weeks and we should be in. Here's hoping!

Sounds like everyone is having a nightmare of it all. I am crossing everything for you nd that everything gets resolved quickly! :)
  • Time to join you guys I think!

Just back from viewing a property we fell in love with, and our offer has been accepted!!!!!

I just got a letter from solcitor abouut land regsitry I have to sign and the bloody tax for house sale, I hate the 1%, I hadly pay tax as it is on my crap incomes so 1,500k is a lot to me.

I still have issue that ned sorting with our new hous, we agreed a price of 2 1/2 below asking price which includes, cooker, fridge/freezer, washer.

Then we had to pay full asking as an old buyer who pulled out came back with full asking price. The previous did a document of whats included with house with old buyers which we got in turn, as I dreaded asking do we still get the appliances, its now the time where we really need to ask again. I am not bothered to much about freezer and washer but oven/cooker we do need and will have to buy one, we will have no money left at teh end of it.

The appliance will be no good to sellers as they off to Oz, they coudl only give them away or sell them
  • We are in kind of the same position Poppycat. The sellers are getting funny about the built in appliances - we agreed the price which included them now they are getting funny about them. I mean, what are they going to do with them - rip them out??

The sales are worth jack really. Some paints and exterior DIY stuff is cheap now, but with shopping about you always get good prices if you try ;)

    Dont forget quidco!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind

So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
