DON79 - much nicer area and still near Duston schools (

Oh if only we had the money! this one would be great :( and I love the garden as it is probably as big as the one we have now, but longer rather than wider which I would prefer. Then hubby could put all the chickens and ducks at the bottom of the garden and leave the top area for the kids!

Or a slightly nicer area of kingsthorpe

I like this one but it is a bit far for school as its further than where we are now and the garden is lovely low maintenance but not for us :)

There's not a lot at the lower end of the 5 bed house market unless you want to live in ED which were designed for huge sprawling families (on the dole) - check out the 4 bed in Southfields for 100k

Southfields! double :eek: All I will say is been there and done that and never ever ever again - and thank goodness we were only renting... :p

Wow Oog, that was some good work!

No it's not great for the people buying but it is good for the people that lost that house in the first place. If you did get this house and I were the other buyer, I'd be onto the EA big time for wasting everybody's time.

I hope you get it :o

    Hi everyone!

I have now done everything I possibly can to get this house and am now in the laps of the gods (aka underwriters, solicitors, banks and possibly the general public).

    Crumbs...

Survey(s) done - valuation pretty much confirms the work I expected, although is a lot more thorough than I have seen in the past.

This week, the best part was finding out the mortgage advisor had photocopied all my bankstatements using the autofeeder and chopped off the tops and bottoms of them before sending them off. I couldn't understand why I was being asked (again) for all my bank details in consecutive statements, showing full months including salary payments...
