What is the significance of ankle chains? I always thought they were just a cute accessory.
I love, love, love purple toenails. :T Maybe it's a sign of my true nature.:rotfl:
I suspect it does show your true natureFreedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
In the 40's and 50's ankle chains were worn by female sex workers. They became trendy fashion accessories in the late 70's, early 80's (a bit like honking great medallions for men were)..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

The fact is unless they had a DNA test done you are on nothing more than words as to the actual biological father.
Yes, but maybe the mother hadn't slept with her husband for a long time, so she knew whose child it was! From reading the post (see, I can do that as well) it sounds like they stayed with their spouses, only because they were the main earners, and did not want to leave them in the soft stuff. And it took 5 and 10 years to sort it out. Anyway, the poster sounds quite happy, and her parents were together for 25 years, so that would qualify for a happy ending!

I think we're building up a picture of the women we (men) either have to stay clear of, or look out for, depending on the blokeFreedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0
