Mark, I manipulated nobody in "snagging" my man. I was there if he wanted me, and he chose me. I never once asked him to leave. I never once begged him to leave. I never once promised him the moon if he left. I never once withheld favours. I never once pretended to be something I wasn't. I got on with my life and he decided he wanted to be part of it.

    You sound a strong lady
wish i was as stong as you an i dont mean that nastily its true
It's an honour having such a lovely family and being welsh, what more could a girl want :rotfl:

Tell him it's research, and you're keeping your options open. I told my OH, when he moved in in June 2004, that I'd give him 10 years, then his time was up. He still doesn't know whether to take me seriously :D Keeps him on his toes ;)

Not read all the thread but yes an affair can have a happy ending. My mum and dad started an affair and both of their spouses knew but did nothing to try to keep them. They had me while still married and living with their spouses due to other much older kids and them being the worker in both families. Mum left her hubby when I was 5 and Dad left his wife when I was 10. They lived together for 25 years exactly when my dad passed away. They had been together for 44 years altogether and my mum is now lost without him.
The best bargains are priceless!!!!!!!!!! :T :T :T

No DNA tests in those days then.

You lived with a man that could be your father for 5 years but seem to have no emotion for him.

Not to mention the fact of the guy that either had his five year old child taken from him, or raised a kid for five years as his own only to find out the child wasn't his!

I'm not sure either of those senarios come under the heading "happy".
