Bird Watchers/ramblers are more of a problem :)

Or doggers, even if you don't want an audience. They get everywhere, bloomin pests. ;)

    I've been Money Tipped!
Dunno, more tacky than having it away down a country lane in the car?
    Or in a nature reserve?

To me, yes....thinking of what I find more romantic its being surrounded by solitude and nature....much nicer than printed cotton curtains and a generic print on the wall in a motel in a carpark.

re doggers....I used to have a problem dodging them while waiting in laybys near an airport with little short term parking when I used to vcollect dh weekly from airports. It made me feel icky just being mistaken for one because I wanted to use a layby in my car.

Don't worry what anyone on this forum thinks about you and what you are doing. People who are being offended by your actions are simply feeling the reality of what can happen in a marriage which at the beginning always seems full of hope and dreams. The truth is it takes two people to have an affair and if your marriage is solid, respectful and truly loving then no person outside the marriage can be tempting enough. If an affair occurs there is something already wrong in the relationship and the adulterer is looking for possibilities to 'get away' ('test the waters'), either temporarily or permanently.

If an affair occurs it's because at least one of the couple has the morals of an alley cat. Sort your problems, and if you can't then move on before seeking someone new. Only vile disgusting soulless cretins conduct affairs.

Trust me, I've been the adulterer on more than one occasion!

A contradiction in terms if ever there was one.
  • Only vile disgusting soulless cretins conduct affairs.

Bit of a sweeping generalisation don't you think?!!
  • No, people are in control of their own actions. Having an affair tells you a lot about someones character.

Some people remain very bitter from their personal experience.
  • No, people are in control of their own actions. Having an affair tells you a lot about someones character.

It might tell you about one aspect of their character, but you can't make assumptions about someones entire character unless you know them personally and can see how they conduct themselves in all the other areas of their life.
  • It shows they cheat, lie and are deceitful. It shows they run from problems, not fix or try to resolve. It tells you everything about their character.
