    Hiya :)

Unfortunately nothing was resolved yesterday, we talked at length but were unable to come to any conclusions, and so I had to do what I really didn't want to do and give him an ultimatum :o

I asked that he let me know who he wanted to be with long term, and said that if that person wasn't me, then I would be walking away.

I'm sure a few people will be disappointed or exasperated with me, or think I'm a silly twit. I am myself very disappointed that things were not resolved after spending so many weeks building up to it.

to be honest i think you have been very brave in giving the ultimatum knowing full well that you might lose him.
    Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

  • I've not posted on this thread before, but have been following in the last week & I really feel for you PTN. I even woke up this morning thinking that at least you'd know where you were by now - hope that doesn't sound too wierd or stalkerish  I just appreciate how difficult & frustrating it is when you've waited for a "problem" to be resolved for so long - & it isn't & the waiting continues.

I'd like to echo many others by agreeing that you've been so dignified during this thread, & I wish you well.
& as for some happy ending I'd rather stay single & thin :D

  • oh I'm sorry, just logged on to see how things had gone yesterday! It must be aweful after all the weeks of waiting to see him!
i wish my bank account could keep up with my Rockstar Lifestle!

Why would he want to be with you long term? He can't even make an effort to see you once a week.
He's had something like seven weeks to think about things, so my view is that he's happy to string you along for as long as you let him, becuase that suits him just fine. Just as it's suited him for the last couple of years.
Throw him back - he's not worth the effort.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

He has given you his answer really hasn't he? He is happy with the status Quo and why wouldn't he be? Walk away now and find someone who will deserve what you have to give.

TBH, I think you've now got your answer right there.

If he hasn't had the decency to think about it over all these weeks a few more aren't going to make any difference to the fact that he's happy to bob along havin his cake and eating it.
