Is it still 'adultery' if the OH falls in love with someone else but does not have sex with them?

Would you rather we called it fornication then?

Language evolves with a purpose. Regress and it just shows regressive tendencies, although must admit there comes a point where it just becomes extremely funny.

I dont remember anyone asking for forgiveness on here?

Who are they to offer it?

It was you who started going on about Christian forgiveness in the first place!

    Who am i to judge?

    Am i perfect myself?

I do not judge peoples morals or how they live their life.

I have my opinions on their behaviour but it is not my right to voice them to appear superior

You do judge other people, and you've posted judgments about other people here on MSE before.

To someone who was using their Christian beliefs to make their point, or do Christians get to cherry pick the bits of their religion when they condemn other peoples behaviour?

I've never considered having to choose between them. They both cause hurt and shock, and knock the equilibrium of the marriage right off course.

However, after what happened in our situation, I sometimes think it would have been easier to get over it if he had had a one night stand with someone he didn't care about and would never see again.

Looks like you making a judgment on someone's behaviour, perfect or not.
