I got "THE HAIRY BIKERS" cook book, I was really impressed with them when I saw them on the Paul O'grady show once. So was OH.
It looks really good, they travelled to various places, and picked up recipes and Idea's from those countries.
Cant wait to get stuck into it.
Its my birthday in February, I hope to be using a breadmaker by then (as Ive borrowed my cousin's) if so - I'll be asking for a BM then.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -

Hmm...Trow wrote:A four piece dinner service?
Was it a large plate, a small plate, a bowl and a cup, or just four matching plates...

OK, so I should have said four place dinner service
And yes, four each of dinner plate, side plate, soup bowl, cup and saucer.
Sheesh! Fancy being expected to be accurate on Christmas Day!

I got half a dozen books by my favourite authors and a load of shower stuff fron the body shop and Lush!!
DD also cut my hair for me and coloured it so i am now a lightish blonde instead of a white haired witch!!! One that looked as if she had been dragged through a hedge, to boot!
Already have a slow cooker and bread maker but would love to upgrade eventually to a Panasonic and the handle of the slow cooker is falling apart!!!"This site is addictive!"
Wooligan 2 squares for smoky - 3 squares for HTA
Preemie hats - 2.0 -
I got the rest of the money to buy the guitar I have been lusting after for 20-odd years - I have been saving here and there but never thought I'd actually have enough in this lifetime.
It's thrifty really - think of all the time I will sit playing / admiring / thinking about my guitar and won't be shopping, spending, eating, watching tv, ummm or cooking, cleaning, looking after my children... maybe it wasn't such a good thing after all...:p

I got LOTS of body creams and lotions, enough to last me a couple of months (I needs LOTS
) from DD who reads this message board
, two cookery books from DS which I'm looking forward to reading and using; a set of Nigella stacking cake tins and a set of her measuring cups (pure indulgence but useful too) and a fab apron saying 'Domestic Goddess - Kitchen Queen' from DearSis who's very appreciative of my efforts.
Also lots of other more indulgent stuff like DVDs and sewing stuff, all in all a great haul. I'm a lucky fairy! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I got some rather fine gardening gloves, and some gorgeously warm slipper boots, for which my OH is very grateful (apparently my cold feet go into automatic heat-seeking mode in bed). And a large notebook from an aunty who always buys practical presents (Hmm....OS recipe book?) Apart from that not really OS, but lots of nice bath treats and chocs - I'm not complaining! Also some money from my old Dad who never knows what to buy me, so I might use that for a slow cooker. On the other hand I might just get my hair done...0
