Who got OS pressies then? :)

MEEEEEE!

I got a new bread maker :) Mine has been on the way out (overuse and it's about 4-5 years old now) sadly new one doesn't have jam program but hohum... :) Only ever started using that this year anyway and I amperfectly able now to do jam on the hob like normal people ;)

Anyway mine is a panasonic something or other :) - and my only really OS pressie ;) Anyone else get OS pressies from Santa?

    YEP :D

An amazing selection of organic herbs, spices and salts which I am going to love experimenting with.

A Pizza cutter/peeler/grater/cheese knife which share a detachable handle. They are seriously nice and don't take too much of my very limited kitchen space up.

A table stand with oils and seasoned vinegars in it.

a set of spices for mulling wine, spicing whiskey, cider and rum :D *Hic*

My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

tine, you might have just got the best pressie ever. I've got a panasonic breadmaker and it's fab. Got it in August and haven't bought bread from a shop since. Joined MSE recently and have read threads about other breadmakers doing jam, etc - but wouldn't swap my panasonic for any other breadmaker - i eat a LOT more bread than I do jam!

I bought Thrifty Ways for DD1, DS and DD2 plus one for me. Guess what DS bought me. Yes, Thrifty Ways. So today there were five copies of the book in our house. Is this a record!!!

  • I got a brill book from No2 son called "The NEW Complete book of Self Sufficiency" The classic guide for realists and dreamers; by John Seymour. Some of the stuff will never happen (keeping a cow for instance) but there is a mine of information in there.

No 1 son gave me a bottle of Chivas Regal 12 year old - so he is let off too.

    I got Martin's new book
Gave Mum some home made plum jam (she was delighted)
OH got one of those plugs which tells you how much electricity something is using - I can see lots of appliances being tested over the coming days
