Groupon and O Spa London postage scam!

I purchased 8 collagen masks from O Spa through a Groupon deal back on 22 June. I was emailed by O Spa confirming my order on 25 June. I didn't hear anything else from them, despite having sent several queries via their contact page. Item was at this time shown 'awaiting despatch'. I then received another email from O Spa on 3 August showing expected delivery times as 15 August. Still I waited. On 7 August, I then received a further email from them, showing that item had been despatched, giving a tracking number to the Royal Mail website. When I have typed this number in, it shows that item will only show once item has been delivered (which it obviously hand't ;-( ). I contacted Groupon, who told me that it was in the terms & conditions for O Spa to be given 28 days to deliver the goods. I bided my time, & yesterday when I checked the tracking number, it was shown as having been despatched on 30 August. I still didn't hold my breath, but, finally, the goods arrived today.:j
I must admit, it has made me very dubious about buying any items such as this in the future, but for any other readers, it may pay to persevere & badger O Spa/Groupon a little more......Good luck ;-)

Thanks for your post!! Im gonna look at how to report to watchdog as i managed to finally order mine on 12th July and am still waiting.

The fact that they actually processed two orders and took money for both out of my account only adds insult to injury.

Ive had nothing but good service from groupon as have my friends, it is clearly OSpaLondons fault.

The straighteners better be bloody good, thats all i can say!

there a con i ordered mine July 9th still no straighteners no phone number and some rubbish email saying be patient groupon customer services never answer as well i am fuming i lost the money!

no straightners no phone numbers what a laugh! email from groupon saying we have had no complaints about o spa please reply if you have been scammed with the £99 pond straighteners!

Well I checked my account on ospa London last night and it says my order is cancelled so fingers crossed my refund will follow, Groupon asked me to wait 7-10 working days for the refund then contact them again if I hadn't got it, it will be 10 days on Friday so we'll see!

Still no acknowledgement from ospa to my email complaints though and no apology for holding on to my money for over two months without supplying the goods, they are still sending emails out for special offer facials etc though, I got so mad when I got one this week that I replied asking if they were having a laugh, that they should concentrate on dealing with the orders they have and that their customer service is rubbish. It probably won't even get read but the rant made me feel better!

Anyone else heard anything?

I was doing the patient thing, but have asked for my money back now. It's not as if 1/2 the people have got them, and the rest are waiting for delivery. Nothing seems to have arrived, for anyone.

I emailed them on 18th Aug, 22nd and 29th august, and got a reply at the start of this week to my first email - I think they're swamped with us all getting grumpy.

I'll update you when my money is back, but Group have said that they need to get O Spa to pay back the postage, and they will refund the voucher money.

Unfortunately I ordered some products(Order Id:190792) from O spa London more than one month ago. However, I haven’t received both the products and any notice from them. More worse, all the emails were auto-replied and no valuable information at all. Even when I telephoned them, the retailer didn't take the responsibility and just told me some other telephone number!
So, I can't contact anyone now!
Would you please give me any explanation about your custom service? Please tell me when my product will arrive and don’t tell me any telephone number like these:

Well i contacted OFT today and was told that
1) Groupon dont have to refund the money i paid them for the voucher
2) to contact O SPA by recorded delivery quoting the 'distance selling regulations' and that if i didnt hear back within 14 days to contact OFT again and they would inform me of my next step..

I am might peed off as i too bought another pair of staightners so am out of pocket by £15 for the groupon voucher PLUS £23.97 to O SPA..

hi folks,
just coming off the thread of the straightners, but staying with this becoming famous Groupon company.
My young lady purchased a voucher for a louise walsh make up brush set. All was fine up until the voucher came through and louise walsh website apparently doesnt recognise the voucher!!
Has anybody had this problem? or had any luck with this voucher?, i'm beginning to wonder.
I've already told my oh once we get this sorted we're unsubscribing from these bunch of half cocked cowboys!
