No I haven't received the two pairs I ordered on 6th July. I have written twice to O Spa for a full refund and compensation. It's been a bad experience. No reply to emails, no answer to phone calls not told why they were not despatched on the revised date 15th Aug. or been given a new despatch date. Groupon have not responded to emails either. I rang Groupon today and was told they would contact O Spa re. refunding me. Groupon have also apologised and given me credit. Possibly because I told them I'd also written to Watchdog and I intended taking legal action if not refunded within 14 days.
  • Once I got a reply from Groupon, they have been very helpful, I've had my £15 from the Groupon voucher refunded - I asked that it be refunded by the method I paid, not in Groupon credits & this went in to my paypal acc yesterday & they assure me that the refund from O'spa London will be in my account in 7-10 days, if not I should get back in touch with them and they will chase it up. Plus they've given me £15 of Groupon credit as a good will gesture for all the problems. So for now I have to wait and see.

It seems you've done better than me. I've not got a refund yet and only £10 of Groupon Credit. It looks like I need to contact Groupon again!

3 emails to groupon and no credit or refund...... you're all doing better than me. I feel a Tuesday rant coming on if they don't respond soon!
Always on the hunt for a bargain.

Always grateful for any hints, tips or guidance as to where the best deals are:smileyhea
  • My first 2 emails didn't get a reply so I wrote on Groupon facebook page and got a reply they gave me an email address to send the details to and since then have had a good response to be fair. Good luck, I hope we all get our money back in full x

Thanks and lets hope so. I've sent a link to this page to Groupon and asked why customers are being treated differently. I pleased for you but I bought two vouchers, spent money on phone calls and recorded delivery mail. So I feel at least I should have had the same Groupon credit if not more. I'm not on Facebook so I can't leave a message there. I'm really angry with O Spa I can just imagine the interest they're raking in with all the money they have for all these undelivered straightners.

Groupon told me they have a huge backlog of emails. You might have more luck ringing them. Good luck.
  • Well I posted a message on the Facebook wall with a link to this forum saying the customer service around this issue was awful and the post was deleted by Groupon less than a minute after it was posted!!!
  • I've found this in another forum. I have already completed the report. The whole situation is so annoying I don´t know what else to do! I think we all should report this!!

"I have now reported O Spa & Groupon ( as they are partners in this deal) to the police for fraud!

There are over 5000 of us that have lost money in this scam.

Please people report this to ww.actionfraud.org.uk

It takes 5 minutes to fill this out online.

Please stop this scammers from doing this again and again!!"
