I'll bet you firfox newbies haven't gotten around to figuring out 'Quick Searches' yet.
Example:- Go to argos
- right-click the argos search box on that page and select Add a keyword for this search
- for name type argos quick search
- for keyword type argos
- By defauly firefox gave you a Quick Search folder in your bookmarks but you can save it anywhere you like (you'll never click this bookmark)
- restart firefox (not usually needed but just in case)
argos radio
you'll immediately be taken to search results for "radio" from argos
and from now on typing argos followed by a keyword will take you to the argos search for that word
You can do this with most sites that have a search box0 -
...and I know what you're gonna say
you can't get it to work with mse forum search
Go to the search drop-menu above and left-click so the cursor is in the search box
Cick the context-menu key at the bottom right of your keyboard (next to the windows key:
now you can see the add a keyword for this search option0 -

The thing I really miss is the form filler on the google toolbar. I cannot find it on the firefox version. Any suggestions? In my new basket: A slightly whiffy blanket; Racy’s 2nd favorite jumper; remains of a slipper; 2 sticks (1 chewed); bouncy ball collection (4); Racy’s iPod :shhh: and a large sock (found under Racy's bed)0

There's a link to an unnoffical firefox google bar here (recommended by google). It doesn't form fill but it recommends form fill extensions on that page
Glad - I'll suggest a few extensions in a few minutes. But everyone has their personal favs. so you'll get a lot of debate about which ones people can't live without0 -
Image Zoom is a fantastic little extension. You right-click any image on the screen and simultaneously roll the scroll wheel. The image will get bigger or smaller (you have to tick scroll wheel in options after instal)
It's a great way to occupy yourself when reading replies here
and fantastic for those tiny pics you see on ebay

foxy tunes lets you listen to music without opening a media player. In it's options you just tell it what media player you like to use and from then on you can use little buttons at the bottom right of your browser to control the music (without even seeing your media player open)0
