however, how do i copy and paste ? i can click on something and copy it but when i go to where i want to paste it and click i dont get an option to pastesorry if im being dimple
Ok joining the party slightly late but hey its my day off :j....
Firefox has an extension called AutoCopy which when you select text will automatically copy it to the clipboard meaning you only have to worry about pasting it! If only someone would invent an AutoPaste extension I'd still be able to see the letter V on my poor greasy, crumbridden keyboard.
To get the extension go to yer Tools menu then extensions. In the bottom right of that form hit Get More Extensions which will open a new tab. Auto Copy is usually in the Top Rated Firefox Extensions. Click on it then the install now option on the next screen. Then hit the install now button again on the wee form that appears. Wait 5 secs till its finished - restart Firefox and bingo - you've just saved your C key from more punishment.

The easiest way do this is ctrl+c to copy and ctrl+v to paste. No need to worry about clipboards or anything else. Right click should give this option.
It's weird, I read a lot in here how right click doesn't give a paste option with Firefox. Mine works every time with Firefox. Maybe a bug in the program? How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Do you have the vbulletin options set to Enhanced Interface? that's where there's no paste option
The paste works fine if you have the Basic or Standard interface selected0 -
oooo.....what "enhanced interface"?
i was wondering why MY paste always worked....
whats the trade off?? to paste or not to paste? to enhance or not to enhance?
differences?Talon "Ace" Karrde

sra's offline , but I've just been reading and learning from some of his older posts and as they say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing
I think the trade off is that in enhanced you get WYSIWYG in the replies box (in go advanced or if you used quote, direct from there). This gives you smilies, font changes, links etc. Try it, you can always change it back again if you don't like it.
I loaded firefox last night and have to say, :T .
Errrrm. but don't blame me if it all goes pear-shaped. In my new basket: A slightly whiffy blanket; Racy’s 2nd favorite jumper; remains of a slipper; 2 sticks (1 chewed); bouncy ball collection (4); Racy’s iPod :shhh: and a large sock (found under Racy's bed)0 -
I am currently designing web sites so I run IE, Firefox, NetScape & Opera on my system, all side-by side. I find it really handy as each has different features (& of course you need IE for Microsoft updates). None of them cost anything and are easy to find through any search engine. My only problem is remembering which one I used to bookmark a particulr page.0

For a while I used bookmark bridge which worked great. One click and all the different browsers bookmarks were merged.
But it stopped working for me.
Since I had stopped using IE except via ieview, I never bothered to check what was wrong - so it could have just been the way I had it configured.0
