but...how great a mum can you be if your 15 year old (therefore likely at 14, 13 etc) is having sex with school pals and thinking thats normal?
    just a question!

How decent a human being can you be if that's where your mind goes to? Just a question. (Apologies if you have aspergers or any other medical condition that can make you empathy deficient.)

You see now this is where it all gets so murky - that's your understanding of the rules of the forums

But others will see it differently

And it was only the last week where someone posted to this board then the rules weren't being followed - and got flamed

Perhaps Martin and the team need to look at this board in particular as theres very little money saving to it and a lot of - well to be honest in my eyes - pure bloody stupidity ( we wont mention the cousin on FB)

If the forum rules were applied then 99% of these threads would be shifted to the arms. Once upon a time when there were more active forum guides in here they were
Given that the board title is "The MoneySaving in Marriages, Relationships & Families Board" one could argue that the whole posting of "agony aunt" threads is totally inappropriate!

Personally I think whether or not to have a baby at 15 will have a huge economic impact on a young girl's life, so it's completely relevant to a site about financial matters.

However I think all the insistence about it has to be about moneysaving is old hat now. It's not been true of this site for ages.

They're fighting a losing battle if they try and insist upon it. Who has time to read every thread and decide if it's money saving enough?

It's better to have some moneysaving boards and some discussion and chat boards and make it clear which is which.

If there are just a few purely moneysaving boards then it will be easier to keep them moneysaving.

I came for the moneysaving info and stayed for the chat.

I wouldn't come here every day to read the moneysaving articles.

Wishing you and your family all the best Poppyfield19.

well if thats abuse there is really no point being on a forum is there, an opinion was expressed, no lies or smears...simple facts.

That's not facts. That's casting aspersions, and projecting your own prejudices onto somebody you don't know, who is in a situation you don't know all the details of.

It's being unkind, unhelpful and impolite.

Your opinions and facts are not the same thing, not by a long chalk.

The Arms is the place for posting !!!!. On this board people actually need help.

This Dave is a bit of a chauvinist. In previous posts he has mentioned the fact that his wife doesnt earn any money. And that he sees the money he has earned as all his. And enjoys lording it over her because of this. So i never put any credence on what he says.

I hope Poppyfield and her daughter are okay and moving on with the situation as best they can. (I followed the thread but didn't post much as I didn't feel I had any helpful advice, but I felt for the pair of them being faced with this.)
Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.

I didnt say he couldnt have an opinion. i said i wouldnt put any credence on it. Thats a totally different thing.

And its because of the thought of being trapped by someone like him that makes some women decide not to have children.

You know it was personal attacks like yours that got the last thread pulled

I can only assume that people like you make some people think its best to stay single

Umm was this not a personal attack on poppyfield 19?
By the way Suki i noticed that you thanked him for this post and this post of his was a personal attack so you obviously enjoy playing different rules for different folks.
I guess theres one rule for me and one rule for him then???!!!!
You have lost the moral high ground and shown yourself to be a hypocrite.

After a year or so on MSE I noticed that the same one or two people were horrifying me with their callous and moronic posts. It's tiresome to keep reacting with a "!!!!!!?!" repeatedly to the same posters so I added them to my ignore list.

I enjoy my time here much more now, and recommend it as a course of action.

Some people are quite clearly never going to post anything worth reading. I wouldn't waste my time listening to their nonsense in real life, and the ignore list allows me to disregard them just as easily on here.
