You're more concerned about the MSEers who follow the site rules and flag up rule breaking posts to the abuse team than the ones who post the rule breaking posts?

On the thread we're talking about, there were only a couple of abusive posts, certainly not enough for the site team to pull the thread because of overwork! Disagreeing with someone is not abuse!

She updated on the previous page.

    Yeah, I know.

I was just trying to get out of all the argumentative posts about personal attacks and reporting of posts.

I guess the MSE team thought the thread was creating too much work because lots of people were reporting lots of posts.

I didn't report any (I rarely report any post as abuse unless it's particularly nasty) because (like you) I think everyone has the right to voice their opinion.

That's the whole point, surely. The thread wasn't pulled because people were being abusive but because other posters were reporting posts they didn't like.

I can't for the life of me understand why anyone should feel the need to act in that way.

Interesting that you should say that. I've always found the Families Board to be the most vicious place on MSE!

Oh yes. If you dare to have an opinion that doesn't tally with the majority, dare to disagree or don't have armfuls of ((((hugs)))) then watch out!

How do we know this ONW? I thought posts were deleted on that thread?

Because that was what the Board Guide said when she pulled the thread.

You omitted to say this when you contributed to the discussion "Is this miserly or just moneysaving"
