Managed loans do not normally have PPI, they are what HSBC like to call their consolidation/last chance loan and from what I can see on my paperwork it was not put on and I know if I had been told I had to have it I would of done as i was a very dumb teenager when I took the managed loan on.

You may find you actually do not have PPI on it which is why its not there.

    Ok.

I will do SARmwhen get back from holiday.

Strange that they acknowledge the one which was taken out first (graduate) and the last (personal) but not the one in the middle (managed).

That's either because PPI doesn't exist on the managed loan OR because it's the biggest of the 3 loans!

Thanks. You sound like me! I'd have ticked every box to get it!

This looks right though as they acknowledged the other 2, 1 of which does definitely have PPI on.

Looks like people don't need to do SAR with HSBC as they've given me all info for free.

    Thanks for saving me £10.

No worries, I would hate for them to get another £10 for doing nothing, HSBC really wind me up, they reached their 16 week deadline with me today so I am starting to get the big guns out myself (different loan). Fingers crossed for your other loans, hit em where in hurts..............the wallet

  • Well I've had the letter acknowledging the PPI on two loans and now I guess it is just a case of waiting to see.

Think (before interest) I will be owed about £3500.

    :D:D Plus £10 thanks to cyclura :A
  • If I'm successful I'm happy to donate £100 to a charity of their choice
  • Tomorrow is 2 weeks since HSBC arrived the questionnaires asking PPI returned on a graduate, a managed and a personal loan.

Apart from the post last week saying there was no PPI on the managed loan and acknowledging receipt of the graduate and personal loan claims ive not heard anything.

Fingers crossed the next I hear is a suitable offer.
