well, SMTC, I hope your still about on here to read this... Had my letter TODAY claim upheld and a nice little offer of £10,818.28!!! I cannot believe it!!! Not going to see it all unfortunately as some being used to settle existing account but nonetheless I am over the moon!!! was not expecting that much, turns out I had ppi on 3 loans not 2 and they are refunding them all and I only claimed on 2!!

So, here's where the plot thickens a bit, whilst I am quite happy for them to take some to settle loan, part of this redress is interest obviously at the 8% blah blah, I was under the impression that whilst they may take ppi premiums off balances oustanding the interest element was to come back to you? anyways, I'm gonna post a question up to see if anyone can help with this, before I accept the offer. Phew, what a wait it has been but soooooo glad I made the claim xx good luck to all who are still waiting x
