You didn't have a contract with me to reply, but it worked didn't it
LOL First you say "I notice uktim29 hasn't come back" suggesting you have won a particular argument.
Then when the oppsite happens you say that!
I think your reading into things!
Because I'm confused now, are you right then when I reply or don't reply? :rotfl:0 -
Wetherspoons is ok for a pub lunch or for students. Food in my local is nice and hot and filling! You gets what you pays for.0

You started waffling about unrealistic scenarios which have no relevance to what I said. You have a great capacity to ignore replies which show you to be wrong.I think your reading into things!Because I'm confused now, are you right then when I reply or don't reply? :rotfl:0 -
I have a great capacity to ignore a load of rubbish when I read it!0

The original commentTurning_into_scrooge wrote:But they did refund you your money, not everywhere today does that, most argue back and tell you to lump it.
My replyWig wrote:And you should under those circumstances tell them to lump it, give them your name and address and tell them to "bite my shiny @$$" walk out without paying. Or pay an amount YOU consider appropriate.
Your incorrect assertionuktim29 wrote:You risk being done for theft if you do that
What part of what I said would put one at risk of theft...a criminal offfence? Obviously the first comment is referring to a scenario where a complaint had been made. My reply made it clear to leave contact details, and pay the amount appropriate.0 -
Burger and chips now £3.490

I see uktim29 hasn't comeback.
Now, this time Tim. I am saying it in the way you interpreted it before. You have no comeback, because I just showed you in detail how wrong you were.
Please note the words in my reply "under those circumstances".
You don't like being proved wrong do you? What is more you don't like having to admit it. Doesn't say much for your character.0 -
 Now now children!!
This is a thread is about Wetherspoon and their amazing value and quality- it is not about the ego of certain contributors.
Why not pm each other? :rotfl:0 -

I read your reply yesterday and could of posted the following below.
http://www.consumerline.org/search/?textsize=small&catname=Other%20Goods%20%26%20Servicesitem=Eating%20Out"
"You should not pay for bad food or poor service. Instead, complain immediately to the head waiter or manager. Do not struggle through a half-cooked chicken and then complain afterwards, it is reasonable to give them a chance to put it right. If they do not put it right and no compensation is offered after you've complained, reduce the bill by what you think is a reasonable amount, pay the rest and leave your name and address."
I've simply said you must take it up with them first, not do what you suggested and leave leaving conact details. Your post mentioned nothing about giving them a chance first.
I didn't due to the fact I didn't want to waste anymore time with you. It's clear your the one who is most interested in being right. As for talking about character I could start talking about self awareness!
I only write this as you've made an incorrect assumption as to why I didn't reply this time.
I imagine you'll reply again to how your right. I don't intend to reply, please don't assume it's for fear of being wrong. In my head I'm sure I'll pick up on bit's I disagree with. But I won't reply, because you would argue forever if you could. This is the reason as to why I won't reply to a future post/didn't reply when I read your post yesterday.
So for the next 'I see uktim29 hasn't come back' You'll know why0
