The FO won't deal with store cards so you need to follow through the process yourself and start a court action if this is the stage you are at.0 -

That'll be a yes then - letter from G.E solicitors today offering full amount, not court fees but I will phone and question that.
Has taken nearly 8 months for not really much money but got there in the end. :beer:0 -
I have successfully reclaimed many charges from credit cards and from my Bank (Natwest) but am wondering whether it is the same principle when reclaiming from store cards and catalogues, as I haven't done this yet. I have account with Littlewoods and Dorothy Perkins (GE Money) Has anyone has any joy with these.

Hi all here is my resonse from GE money. Can someone please tell me how to go about getting my money back?
Basically they will pay me £36 as a goodwill gesture in full and final settlement and are sending me a cheque in the post within the next 14 days. they are unable to refund anymore as the info on charges etc is detailed in marketing material produced to all new customers (i didnt receive anything like this) and in the t&cs. they say the oft declared £12 as a charge that was fair and consistent to costs incurred by the financial institutions (can anyone verify this?)
The letter is 2 pages long and basically states they cannot (or wont) refund the full costs of my charges and certainly no interest.
Can i send the next letter (stating they pay me within 14 days or i go to court) and in that letter ask them to send me a list of the costs incurred when i went over my limit so i can send it to the FOS for verification if they wont refund my money?
Many thanks
