Just to let everyone know Abbey have offered me 0.9% until April 08 with a 3% uncapped fee on my std Visa account with them which I have recently cleared down. Not the best out there but saves me opening another card.
    Hope this helps someone.
  • Just phoned up yesterday to roll over my balance and was offered
4.9% for 6m and 7.9% LOB both with 3% BT uncapped

Er no thanks I'll close the account please

Was then offered 1.9% for 12m or 0% for 6m both with no balance transfer fee - took the 12m deal
    :j
  • Just got offered 5.9% balance trf for life - no fee by the mc squared Mint card...:j

Just found out MBNA Bank & Virgin (same company) cards are being increased to 34.9% and 29.9% APR respectively. The Virgin is doubling the rate next month after just reaching end of 0% bal trf. Unfortunately i still have a balance so am looking into the shuffle.

They will not reduce them - cos I don't spend I think.

Hi, I've called Barclaycard a couple of times and they say they can't offer me any BT offers. It's strange because my credit is pretty good (only problem is lots of cards with lots of revolving balances, but all cleanly managed). I've been spending a few hundred each month on my card, so I don't think I should be flagged for not using my card. I've been a Barclaycard customer for at least a couple of years. Can anyone give me advice on why Barclaycard isn't offering me anything, or what I can do to get an offer, other than just continuing to call them each month?

Just moved my car loan from MINT as the 0% ended onto CITI. MINT have just offered me 0% balance transfer until June 08. I don't need it, but may use it to pay off my monthly card and save the cash for 10 months.

Just got some cheques through from Barclaycard 0.9% until January 2009 with 3% Fee.

My current 0% on this card finishes in November so looks like I'll clear the balance and take 16 months at this rate.
  • I've just been offered 0% BT for 6 mths with NatWest Mastercard.
