LloydsTSB have also offered me another 0% for 6 Months on their Advance card. My Alliance & Leicester (MBNA) card is up for renewal soon so I am hoping they offer the same.0 -

Hi,i've got an egg card which i haven't used sice the 0% rate expired in july.I have a balance which i want to transfer any remainder to egg in jan(my anniversary). How do you go about it, do you just tell them you want to take up the offer, or do they contact you. Also, would it be advisable to use the card now for something, as it's had nothing on it since july. Thanks.:A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:0

A friend of mine suggested purchasing some premium bonds using my credit card and then transfering the balance on a 0% deal expecting to earn a good return before paying back. This sounds too good to be true - has anyone out there already tried this?0

Premium bonds - been discussed on another thread I think. However I hold £2k's worth and have won £100 but thats over 2 years, not great but you always get the chance of a bigger win.
Side note Halifax offered me 4.95% until paid off with a 2% fee - do they not realise there are better deals around??2014 running challenge 587.4 miles / 250 miles0 -
