Marbles don't want to offer me anything lower than 9.9%. How did you get 5.9%?

    Yes,
I clear my balance first by transferring a balance to a higher rate card for just a few days and I call the customer loyalty department and as what special offers they can offer me at the moment. I always ask to transfer the maximum 95% of my credit limit to my bank account. I stick the rest of the money that I don't need in a high interest savings account.

Not a problem, I didn't take it as a dig. Just reading my post it makes me look like I'm being defensive which I wasn't (intentionally) doing.
I tried phoning up Marbles again and they quoted me the same 9.9% for 6 months with a 2% fee. This is really high but still not as high as my overdraft which is at 14.8% :O
