After not accepting a 0% offer as it was only until august! I have logged on today to find a 6.9% life of balance.
Same here. Have also received three separate offers in the post today:
Lloyds - 0% BT for 15mths with 3% fee.
Barclaycard World - 0% BT for 12mths with 2.9% fee
MBNA - 0% BT and MT for 16mths with 5% fee“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

Barclaycard (ex Egg): 24 months 0%, 4.9% fee
MBNA: 13 months 0% (on both BTs & MTs), 2% fee
Been getting them for around 6-7 months now.
I can't make them pay (in a stoozing sense, as have no 'real' debt), so they just get binned!0 -

Nationwide...... 4.9 % APR for 12 months on balance transfers £0 bt fee.
Not great but no fee, found it on my statement rather than any big offers when I log on to online banking.0 -

Hmm, I received the Barclaycard offer, duly applied and was turned down. Spotless credit history, plenty of income, all boxes ticked. No explanation and couldn't be bothered to follow it up.

After my interest rate went up to 27.9% during a period where I withdrew a lot of cash, a year later and with my credit score much improved, I called to ask them to reduce it.
In fact, I had just been given a £7,500 card limit on the Nationwide Select Credit Card whoch is also a great 'abroad' card.
When called and asked, they said, no they would not look at reducing. However, when I then began the cancellation process, the operator said just before she finalised everything, she would check if they could do anything.
She came back and said no, so I cancelled.
Will probably re-apply again as a new customer in six months or so! Bet I get it at the 12.9% rate again!!0
