OH had a balance on MBNA card on a promotional offer of 1.9% until Nov 2010, got an offer of 12 months 0% on purchases through the recent statement. yippeeee now just to clear the balance do a purchase so that the 1.9% becomes 0% for another year!!!

Phoned nat west for a repeat deal,got offered nothing so tried for a deal by closing the account,it,s now closed !

Decided to ring to cancel a few old cards I no longer use, was offered 0% by Halifax for 6 months or 7.9 LOB from Tesco

Just got a 0% deal offered on my Virgin Card until Nov.

It's a pity I don't need it.

£8k limit, offered 4.94% LOB or 6 months 0%. Cancelled the card, just received letter to say its closed (4 days to receive the letter),
so.......
went through online banking applied for a new 13 months 0% balance transfer deal card, accepted and approx £6K limit it said lol :rotfl::rotfl:

Called Halifax, reduced my interest rate by 5% and offered me 9 months free balance transfer 3% fee. Awesome

Rang my MBNA card and they wouldn't budge, 29% interest ive had the card the longest, never missed a payment.
