santander have offered me another 0% for 6 months deal - i transfered as much as they would let me onto that - saves me money and I get the debt whittled down quickly0

Im a first time user - so sorry if wrong posting section! - need advice as I want to transfer the balance from my Abbey (now santander) card and also my mbna card to another, but it seems mbna is the finance provider for most of the 0% transfer cards on offer at the moment -already have barclaycard with debt on it which was intended to sort out the 2 cards but lost my job for a year & had to use the 2 again -ive been paying double to three times the minimum payment into all 3 cards for over 5 months now but it doesnt seem to make any difference on the santander and mbna as they increased the interest from 15.9% after 0% period which i took it out at to 21.9% -now desperately need to transfer the 2 as i stopped using all cards 6 months ago & im trying to pay the 2 off within a year but wont achieve this with the new rate -opened halifax account with approx £3,000 paid in each month and they still refused me a credit card! (irrespective of good credit as i never missed any payments before) - Any advice pls?0

With halifax normally you would need to wait for 6 months after opening account before they start throwing credit llimits and money at you. ofcourse youalso have not mentioned how much you owe on the other cards which may also be a reason for your credit card refusal.Im a first time user - ........ -opened halifax account with approx £3,000 paid in each month and they still refused me a credit card! Just got off the phone with Tesco, to give you the background:
Cleared balance of circa £3k last month
Have had a zero statement
not paid them any interest
never used for spending.
They have offered:
7.9% on purchases for 6 months only
or
6.9% rate for life on transfers with 3% fee
This was with customer retentions, I was hoping for a 12 month 0% with low fee0 -
Just had some cheques land on the doormat.
4.94% for 6 months with a 3% fee.
They went straight in the shredder!0 -
Has anyone actually got any decent repeat offers from Tesco recently, are they historically any good for repeats ?,
I have a 0% deal coming to an end with them and will be clearing the balance but could do with an offer to transfer another 0% that is ending in a couple of months, ta0 -
