I tried after this and after paying off my Oyster card and it worked. Looked at my online banking and the Breathe card was on there with a £250 credit limit, and they reduced my Oyster card credit limit by the same amount!
Anyway, I phoned them and they said afte I have received the card, I should be able transfer 90% of my Oyster credit limit and then I will close that card. Not ideal but I suppose it's better to have 90% of my credit limit at 0% BT for 12 months than 100% at 6.9% for life.
Well it seems Barclaycard were lying to me as I phoned them up to transfer my credit limit and they apparently can't do this for at least 3 months. So now I'm stuck with a £250 credit limit on one card and a measly £1100 on the other, both empty and both of which are hurting my credit score by not being used
I suppose the best thing to do is to close my new card straight away and make do with the £1100 at 6.9%. The whole thing has left me worse off with a smaller credit limit....I wish I never applied for the Breathe card now! I'm just hoping they didn't do a credit search when I opened the second account!0 -
Just got a 12 month 0% follow on with Natwest for a 2% fee. Offered 6 months at 0% with 3% fee first though......
Looks like they get my custom for another 12 months then!0 -

Good result, 9 months 0% with 3% is all I'm being offered just now. Have you used the card since your last 0% deal?"A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -

Nope, not used my card ever.
Was a balance transfer card only. cleared the balance last month, and then called up.
One thing, they did have to activate my card as it wasn't already done. I suppose I didn't do it when first recieved!!0 -
Hmm. There's a balance transfer offer on the credit card account I have alonside my current account. No specifics on the apr.
Seeing as how that credit card is 90% full, I'm going to try and balance transfer it all to another card (that has a higher apr), wait for a £0 statement, pray the offer is still valid and then balance transfer it all back.
Is it a good idea to call up and ask how long the offer will be available for?
What else do I need to be wary of?CC1: [STRIKE]£4990.46[/STRIKE] £3048.57 / CC2: [STRIKE]£5616.99[/STRIKE] £5583.10 / CC3: [STRIKE]£4815.75[/STRIKE] £4738.86 / CC4: [STRIKE]£3844.66[/STRIKE] £3723.32 / CC5: [STRIKE]£2669.82[/STRIKE] £2655.09 / CC6: [STRIKE]£1897.17[/STRIKE] £1861.01 / CC7: £1227.52

Just make sure the two cards aren't from the same provider. Apart from that, sounds good."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -
Thanks CJ. One card is LloydsTSB the other is Marbles.
