Yes, I just keep getting redirected back to the sign-up page whenever I apply!
Thats the same problem I had, I telephoned them a few days ago and they were unaware of the problem and looked into it saying the problem would take 2 days to fix. I tried it again this morning and it now works! good luck with your application:)0 -
Hi all
phones lloyds tsb yesterday to see if there were any offers for balance transfers , all they had was 4.9% for 6 months and 3% fee,
This seems rubbish compared to what halifax and barclaycard offered me ie 4.94 L O B and 6.9 L O B ,
have any of you heard of better deals so i can phone back and haggle possibly ??
Cheers

Nope, that's pretty much par for the course from Lloyds IME. Better to look elsewhere. YorkshireBoy was the LTSB repeat maestro, but even he's not had any luck with them for quite some time.
Apply elsewhere and close the LTSB card I'd say."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -
Im new to this thread and wow this is interesting stuff. Ive had the same problem that all the card companies seem to be connected to one another, so you cant always do a new transfer, but from this gist of all this i can ring who im with and haggle for a better rate??0

I tried after this and after paying off my Oyster card and it worked. Looked at my online banking and the Breathe card was on there with a £250 credit limit, and they reduced my Oyster card credit limit by the same amount!
Anyway, I phoned them and they said afte I have received the card, I should be able transfer 90% of my Oyster credit limit and then I will close that card. Not ideal but I suppose it's better to have 90% of my credit limit at 0% BT for 12 months than 100% at 6.9% for life.0 -

I managed to get an offer on Thursday of 0% 6 months with 3% BT when I asked to close my account - think they put me through to retentions0 -

There's a list of card issuers here on the stoozing site.
If you've got a nil balance on the card, you can phone them and ask for a repeat balance transfer offer. Phoning them to ask them to reduce the rate when you've got a balance and they're making money from you doesn't tend to work - but no harm in asking"A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -
@ Cannyjock - How did you get on with Natwest and their cheques with a 3% fee. I tried last weekend and got no reduction. Going to try on Friday (new month etc) to see how I get on.0

No luck in getting the fee waived, but did speak to someone in their retention team and got 1000 YourPoints to stay.
If I wanted to boost my internal score with them then I'd start using the card for some purchases and clear it in full each month."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -
Natwest offered me free membership of their points scheme. Told them that it was easier to have straight cash back from other providers.
As above, I will try this Friday for a lower fee b/t. If not, bye bye Natwest (again):D0
