What a day.. I was meant to send a little gold necklace from ebay... untangled it and it snapped in my hand so can't send it - cue the negative feedback. (My rating is 100%) xxxLife is too short not to love what you do.0

So found out today that the bf has been silly and not kept on top of the council tax and we have a letter which summonds us to court. He says he's just paid it but somehow all of a sudden I don't believe that he has... I think I might have to check up with the council... There is no way I am trying this hard and we need to go to court over something like that... Slightly disappointed.
The cat is doing my head in too.. Keeps biting meLife is too short not to love what you do.0 -
Hello!
Really need to keep up with this.
So I am trying to lose weight, I think I want to get down to 160lbs and then 135lbs I was 160lbs when I was 16 - 6 years ago... remember sitting in front of the mirror looking at my little pot belly and hating how I looked, wish I could have told myself then to stop eating!!
Debts have got down to the big 3 - Loan, Credit Card and Overdraft, all paid on time - all being well and part of me really can't be bothered with it any more but I know I want my overdraft for sure to be 0 so that's my next battle. I so far have 38 squids in a savings account, once this gets to £500 I will put it into my overdraft bringing my monthly fees down from £60+ to £30 max. Things have improved however by being on this site as I used to get charged near on £100 in fees and stuff from my overdraft due to unpaid items. Doesn't happen any more.. Think what I really need to do is have a bank account transfer and get all my DD's and stuff transfered into a new account that's not Halifax (where all my banking is) and pay off the overdraft by standing order each month. *the fear here however is Halifax will catch wind of this and screw me over...* perhaps what I should do is transfer money over from my current account when I am paid into the savings and do it that way. Never ever had a problem with Halifax, they don't know my debt because I have managed to keep them sweet and if they take my savings then so be it - it's for them anyways!!
I am rambling now.
I am so tired from this second job, however it is worth about 900 cals and £50 extra a week so I guess I shouldn't complain.
Hope everyone is having a nice day.
Much love

So today feeling a little bit more positive, if I pay the minimum of £18 from my weekly wage and £50 from my main wage I would make the £500 mark by my Birthday in October. This would then free up another £30 which I would chuck at the debt, once the overdraft is down to £2500 instead of £3K I will save again another £500 to throw at the credit card (should be less than that needed to pay it off providing I don't spend on it...) that will free up another £25 to start throwing at the debt then it's just the overdraft. After August my phone contract ends so will have an extra £30 to throw at debts, and in December my gym membership runs out so that's another £33 to throw at the debts yay! xxxLife is too short not to love what you do.0

So last night I get a letter from the council saying we haven't paid our council tax... as the BF deals with all our bills I asked if him if he was sure he paid it... which he took as that I didn't believe him. Thus creating our first ever argument, in 11 months we have never argued. Mainly because I can't, because I cry. Anyways, he has paid, called the council this morning and we were told to ignore the last letter as it was released at the same time as the last payment.
So it's make up time to the BF, we had a big cuddle last night and said sorry but I think it calls for making banoffee pie this weekend to really make up for it.
ON OTHER NEWS!!!
I have lost 6lbs... I'm a little bit confused as to how things work. When you type into google the conversion rates as my scale is on KG and not stones and lbs I can never be sure how much I have lost... so I put into google 88.6 which is what I was this morning and it says 13.9. I was 14.1 before I started so I put my weight into the boots diet and it says I have lost 6lbs... yay... however convert it into lbs and I have apparently lost 3lbs. I don't get it... anyone?!
so anyways... Kitten to the vet tomorrow... gonna talk castration which will be nice for him

Made a banoffee pie over the weekend, so the boy loves me again
Life in general is getting me down, think I need a day off just to chill out and work out what I want to do.
I need:
A new job - which values me more and pays me like wise - I'm thinking of a crappy sales job just for the bonus' to boost me out of debt quicker
To really hack away at those debts because it's holding me back - if I didn't have them I could retrain to be either a nurse or a teacher - what I am desperate to do
Lose weight (getting there slowly)
Get in touch with the BF best friend so we can arrange a suprise visit for the BF either in the UK, SA or Holland. Holland is looking most likely (he lives in SA)
Save some money for a holiday (probably next year)
Get my credit files looking pretty
I really don't know what to do about jobs, I don't feel good enough for anything.. I have a degree in media and culture and would like to do something that helps others but just don't have a clue what. I saw the Civil Servant Fast Stream, that looks awesome but mum told me not to get my hopes up... I dunno... xxxLife is too short not to love what you do.0 -
Hey pudding, how's tricks?
I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling very happy either at the moment... glad you and the BF made up, but it's rubbish that you're not happy about your job. I can sympathise utterly with that one!
On the upside you're doing very well on the weight loss. Regards the difference in loss I can explain. When it's converting it says 13.9 - but the point 9 is out of 10 as you're looking at a decimal figure, whereas a stone has 14 pounds! That's why it doesn't add up! If I were you, in google just convert the kgs to pounds, not stones and pounds. When you have the pounds amount you can work out how many stones are in there yourself! How does that sound?
I'm ordering the Shred dvd today, had my ShopandScan voucher for Amazon, yay! It's £5.99 with free delivery so I'm happy, hope I've got the right one!
Chin up my little poppet, you're doing so well, much better than me, don't let the b*stards get you down! Let me know how you get on in your job hunting

Hellooooo!
My dad calls me puddingmakes me giggle!
Yeah I realised this yesterday about the weight thing... Meh, works out 4lbs I think so I by Friday I should be on 6lbs haha! What a loser! The shred thing is good but requires determination! I plan to do it tomorrow morning before work, my wrists really take the toll of it though so can't do it too much too often!
Really wanna get back into swimming again, just have no one to go with and it's a bit depressing going on your own!
Hope you're ok sweet pea! Can't believe your work have taken a grand off your pay rise.. My mum would call that Indian giving...
Love and hugs xxxxxxxLife is too short not to love what you do.0
