Hi DFW321!!
Sorry to hear about your nan, I do believe people die of broken hearts
Haha I love that pic too - makes me laugh!
Yeah I've given up the whole wishing/hoping thing on marriage, it will happen when it happens... men are strange creatures! My dad never actually asked my mum, he just assumed that it would happen :rotfl:
I will be looking out for some more jobs, it's not all over yet
My motto is now to take each day as it comes, and eventually I'll get there

So, just done my budget for the next month, and I'm pretty impressed
After all my payments and debts and stuff go out I am left with £644.58 (which includes the wages from my second job) so if I can make another couple of quid on eBay things will be amazing
It's been a while since I have had so much 'left over cash' especially as recently I have paid my 'little big debts' off with my wages each month (near on £200 a time ) so I think tomorrow I will put a lot in my savings account and not touch it as sooner it gets to £500 the better and then I can either pay off my Credit card in full or pay off 1/6th of my overdraft (which currently costs me £60 a month in fees :O) my debts are as follows:
£3000 Overdraft
£3486.53 Loan
£500 Credit Card
Therefore if I can get the overdraft under £2500 the fees will come down to (only!) £30 rather than £60 for the month and I guess I could put the extra £30 I saved into the credit card above minimum payments and get them both down at the same time.
I can actually see how this could really work - I have been hating the fact I have the 'biggies' left but if I continue to plod on with the 'little and often' mantra I could get this down quicker and with this new 'savings' account acting like a storage account I can make a virtual pot and save like I've never saved before!! (I have never saved before) to pay off the debt! yay! xxxLife is too short not to love what you do.0 -
