Haha Thanks Emz! Still need to list those Marie Claires that are nesting under my bed - plus my friend has given me over a years worth of wedding magazines (I like to dream) so they will go on there too xxx

I have a load of Cosmo mags, is it best to put them on E-Bay altogether or separately?

I never even thought of selling old mags on eBay!!!!! * note to self to start hiding them so the OH can't throw them away...............

I had LOADS of magazines, and did think about selling them at 10p a go on a car boot. But there were loads, they were taking over my room! When I moved out of home I finally gave in and allowed my mum to put them in the recycling bags. She's been feeding as many as she can in for the last year :rotfl:think she's half way down the pile now! I can't believe how much money I have wasted on magazines over the years, finally kicked the habit last year!

Well what a disappointing day and it's not even 10am.

Work say that I am actually being paid too much because essentially employed as a receptionist who should only be on £12K but because I do all the other stuff on top my wage stayed the same at £15K (I used to be a designer here but my position dried up so they moved me to an admin position so my manager could come off reception and become the boss' PA) The boss didn't tell me this, he's not even in the office today... so that's that. They did say they would consider me in the bonus when the mid year profits have been worked out (how nice of them) I didn't get it last year even though I worked there 6 months and my manager at the time (a complete !!!!) got a nice big cut of it, worked there less time than me and then !!!!!!ed off after new year without a trace!!

As you can see I am bitter.

I will be looking for a new more exciting better paid job in a few months.

The BF also said he wasn't thinking about marriage for a long time yet (heartbreaking - he is my one)

so all in all I feel poo

Sorry you're having a bad day . I would start looking for a better paid job now if I were you. You have a job at the moment so it's not like you are desperate to find another one so you can take your time and find one that is perfect for you.

On the marriage front, would it make you feel better if I told you that I've been with my OH for over 10 years and although I have hinted many-a-time (not so much these days, but a few years back) about marriage, there hasn't been a diamond in sight. I think that men want to get married all of a sudden - it's like a switch that flicks on in their brains. I'm sure it will happen for you one day soon.

Thanks Emz, I will be looking for a new job, mum recommends Civil Service (because we live near the dockyards at Portsmouth) as she is one and apparently they look after you there... Don't think a desk job is for me though

As for marriage yep I think you're right. I'm just going to stop thinking about it and hope that one day he will ask me

So thought I should post again as it's been a while.

I know my weight has crept up even more. I seriously need to sort it out. I want to lose 3 stone all in all as I am scarily close to a massive 14stone... Nearly a stone more than my gorgeous bf. Think I might have to bite the bullet and join slimming world again but would have to go alone as no one I know lives near me

Still super sensitive about the whole marriage thing. One of the bf's relitives asked him when he was going to ask me, (this of course was in Dutch but I understood!) and he replied not for a long time yet (again in Dutch but it was obvious). Felt awful today as the whole of the bfs maternal side were round to celebrate his grandmas birthday and I couldn't understand a word, kept having to ask what was being said so I could get the gist of the conversations. More that one person asked me when I was going to learn... Feel like a massive failure

Worried about coming home and the parking fee, it's going to be something like £70 as it's 14.30 a day!!! Think the bf is all out of cash so it might be my turn to cough up.. I will have to ask him what he has planned...

Anyway, all in all, I am feeling sorry for myself. Thinking of joining up to some agencies to get a better job, one that won't see me eating myself to death because I'm so bored!
