Lots of Mushrooms. What to do with them?

Apparently you eat it raw? It was in my local Tescos - a small packet is £2. Not tried it yet but am going to have some with my mushroom pate later and will report back0

It tastes like a mix between soft raw broccoli and apple skins. That might not sound appetising but it was quite nice. And looks beautiful!0

Pickled mushrooms are delicious and this recipe only requires them to mature for 12 hours

I wouldn't bother with the oil if you are going to eat them within a week - it's just to exclude air and prolong keeping time.
Pickled mushrooms can be served alone, on a cocktail stick with a piece of ham and /or cheese, etc etc
Mushroom paste is delicious on a toasted or baked slice of French bread or in a pastry case or a bread case made by pressing a circle of bread cut from a slice into a mini tart tin and then baking until crisp. The following recipe is a good one, but I'd use a jeye cloth or similar instead of a tea towel. A little bright green chopped parsley or coriander makes a great garnish

Halve if necessary, wrap in bacon, secure with toothpick, grill.
Not elegant but yummy!Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0 -
or you can toss in flour, egg and breadcrumbs and deep fry! (if you happen to have some garlic powder or granules add that to the flour - instant garlic mushrooms).0
