Good afternoon,
First of all please accept our sincerest apologies for the confusion and concern that this email issue has caused. We did experience a technical error with our e-mail system several days ago, and a number of messages were generated in error and sent to our members.
I do completely understand how confusing this has been and I can certainly clarify a few points for you all.
- The email was sent out in regards to historic transactions when it shouldn’t have been. So the transactions that the email may refer to were declined too long ago for us to raise a claim, as they were already outside the 45 days. E.g., you may have received an email telling you that your 1st January Zavvi transaction has been declined. It was declined on 1st February so it is too late to raise a claim.
- If you had already raised a claim against your declined transaction then don’t worry! This will still be going through the normal process. You will know when your claim has been resolved as you will receive a response within the claim.
- If your cashback has been declined and it was less than 45 days ago, then there isn’t an issue and you can still raise a declined claim as normal.
@Matt.D - A lot of More Th>n transactions were declined and then re-tracked in straight away. So if you have a look at your account you should see one entry for More Th>n declined, and another tracked. Unfortunately, the email that we sent out automatically picked up on the declined More Th>n entries, and sent the email to all affected members by mistake.
We completely hold our hands up to this error. It shouldn’t have happened and it has caused a lot of confusion and concern for many members that received the emails. We know that there’s no excuse for it happening (and we’re as frustrated as you that it did!), but we have learned from the mistake and we have taken measures to ensure something like this does not, and cannot happen again.
@4444405 – We aren’t aware of Goldsmiths being behind at the moment, although claims may take a little longer to be confirmed in your account. I will make sure that your email is responded to shortly, and we can take a further look into this for you.
@gollum007 – Scottish Power have been taking around 6 months to confirm cashback, so we would expect your transaction to be confirmed over the next month or so.
Kind regards,

I'm still confused!! My transaction was on 8th September so I raised a claim, then received the standard error email yesterday, so sent in a declined transaction claim. As both of these are within 45 days of the original transaction is the original claim still being processed and should I cancel the new declined cashback transaction (which is being tracked at the wrong rate) or am I not getting the promised 10% from M&S0 -
Good afternoon,
@Matt.D – That’s correct, this looks completely fine. As long as your purchase is still showing as tracked, and you have only made the one purchase, then you have nothing to worry about, I’m pleased to say!
@tauruswine –It sounds as though you may have raised two claims for the same transaction, is this correct? If this is the case then don’t worry, as the Quidcare Team will pick up on this for you whilst they are checking claims. If a claim does need closing, they will do this for you and inform you of the closure. I’m afraid I cannot check your account as I don’t have your account details, however if you are in any doubt at all, please send a support ticket to the Quidcare Team and they will be happy to advise you further.

Hi Rosie,
I'm still confused, even though you say everything will be fine, the only ticket that's still showing as "Tracked" is for £0.00. The others show "case closed", which I assume means they're now dead. However these were the only tickets that show the purchase amount and that I actually bought the product.
How can you payout on the one ticket that's "Tracked" but shows the purchase amount is £0.00?
Regards,
Matt0 -
I to have been confused over my
cash back for more then.
I received the declined message so I raised a dispute, this was then acknowledged and an email received saying my claim had been raised. I then received another declined message and then the declined transaction message saying I was to late to dispute.
I am assuming that I have now been declined again from my dispute claim. I do not understand why, I took my insurance out through Quidco followed all procedures and cleaned cookies, I have never had any cashback declined till this. The only thing I can think of is that More Then actually telephoned me to discuss something which was actually correct on my form. They had read it wrongly, once clarifyed all ok. I asked the guy if this would effect my cash back he said it shouldn't do. I am extremley annoyed over this as the cash back is for £65.00.
Thanks0 -
Matt D mine reads like yours
30th July purchase £0.00 cashback £65.00 Tracked
29th Sept Declined
Retracked on 24th September this date still shows tracked.
claim raised 29th September - claim closed 29th September and the 3rd October and that is that.
Does this mean I still have a tracking from the 24th September. This is very confusing.0
